Baltimore Orioles History

The Baltimore Orioles are based in Maryland and are members of the American League East Division. The team has a rich history, with World Series titles in 1966, 1970 and 1983, seven AL Pennants and 10 American League East Division titles. The Orioles, also known as the O's, have a loyal fanbase who have cheered on Hall of Fame players such as Brooks Robinson, known as "Mr. Oriole,” and Maryland native Cal Ripken, Jr., who holds the MLB record for most consecutive games played at 2,632, all with the Baltimore Orioles. In 2023, the O’s finished with the second-best record in baseball at 101-61 and qualified for their first postseason run in seven years.
