BalletMet Presents Alice Tickets

Haven’t been to a ballet in a very long time and this one was amazing. Loved it from the beginning to the end. Loved the costumes and the theater is so beautiful

I’m not much of a ballet person but I took my wife for her birthday. She enjoyed it but so did I. She appreciates the dance where I enjoyed the humor...in a ballet, go figure. Anyway, great show but the seats at the Ohio Theater are horribly small. I know it’s a historic building but man are those seats uncomfortable. Thank goodness for intermission.

This was a fantastic rendition of Alice in Wonderland. The dancers were phenomenal as well as true to the characters. I absolutely loved that the younger students were involved in the production. Wonderful opportunity to meet and dance with such professionals. Well done!!

It was wonderful performance, we liked the choreography and costumes, especially the scenes of tea party with rabbit and Mad Hatter, also little performers as mice, flowers and flamingos . Second act was so bright and funny, I especially liked Queen of Hearts and the Jester, and Alice and how they played cricket with flamingos. I love seeing your ballets Nick 8 y.o.

BalletMet's original version of the adventures of Lewis Carroll's "Alice" was superlative. The dancing based on Artistic Director Edward Liang's masterly choreography, set to a well-conceived musical collage, was expressive and technically marvelous. Every role was superbly performed. The colorful costumes and props, showcased in fluid and evocative sets, were splendid. Loved the Jabberwock and the Caterpillar/Butterfly puppets. The pacing of the story telling was perfect. The kids in the audience seemed truly spellbound, which was perhaps the most glowing testament to the production's quality. The activity area set up for their enjoyment just outside the mezzanine hall was very popular with them as well.

Everything about Alice was a delight. The costumes, the sets, and the dancing were all top-notch. Best of all, the ballet felt accessible to everyone. Sometimes high arts can feel out of reach to the layperson, but this event was enjoyable for all. I only wish the show ran for more than one weekend.

Went with daughters and grand daughters they shopped at gift store went to craft area and then watched the amazing show. We do this every year so I am excited for next year, then after show we go to dinner. Amazing Day

This show was gorgeous; the costumes and set design were flawless, and the dancing was divine.

This is one of the most creative ballets I have seen. The costumes and scenery were amazing. The dancing and choreography were gorgeous and brought the characters to life.

This was my daughters 1st ballet preformance she has attendant. She loved it! Her and I are big Alice in Wonderland fans. Costumes were beautiful, the characters were wonderful. Couldn't have been better.
