We loved our first experience with the Ballet. My daughter, granddaughter and I enjoyed our “Girl’s Day” and the three year old was mesmerized! Beautiful scenes, awesome music, and extremely talented dancers! Perfect first experience!
This was a wonderful show !! My first time at the ballet and the venue was wonderful, the staff was wonderful and the show was amazing ❤️❤️ I definitely recommend!!
A beautiful production! Parking can be tricky you will want to arrive early, then enjoy!
This is my second time attending this show and will be my last. The setting looks inexpensive and the story line is confusing and boring. The dancers were talented but not enough for the price of the tickets. It felt more of a high school play performance.
Ballet Arkansas did a wonderful job, however, the location was very poor. Bag rule was ridiculous. Staff was unpleasant, and kicked us out after shows to "clean". All we wanted to do was take a photo by the Christmas tree in the lobby. This happened not once, but twice. Doors never opened on time, ushers didn't know the facility, etc.
The choreography, dancers, costumes and music were great! All of the people working the event were very helpful and nice. Well done!
Professionally conceived, rehearsed, produced promoting enthusiasm and dedication among a huge corps of volunteeer dancers and helpers in addition to excellent professional dancers and musicians.
I was very disappointed! I did not come to watch children. I want mostly grownup dancers. The set was terrible and the story was off. The company needs at least 25 more dancers and let the kids be secondary. It was a little creepy. My suggestion to look into joining a traveling company that could stop in Little Rock. One similar is Cincinnati ballet that travels to Knoxville and then on to New Orleans. Very accomplished and well worth a higher priced ticket. I love the ballet would like to help. But I won’t by another ticket for the nutcracker. It was pretty bad.
Overall I enjoyed my first experience seeing a ballet. The one thing I feel should change is allowing people in after the lights are turned off. It should be in policy that no one will be allowed in at that time. I missed so much of the opening scene due to inconsiderate people who waited to the very last to either show up or take their seats. I paid good money to see the show and feel robbed in my experience due to this issue.
The performance was full of young children who were smiling and dancing with joy and excitement. And they all seemed to remember exactly where to go and got there gracefully.
