    More beautiful than I remembered!

by amoore12 on 12/12/09Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

I enjoyed "The Nutcracker" more this time than ever before. I don't remember the set and the costumes ever being so vibrant. The dancers were so talented, and the symphony was superb! Spend a little extra money and buy the seats within the center of the theater. It is difficult to see, if you don't. Loved it!

    Bring the mujsic back!

by smartypantstoo on 12/12/09Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

Since I have lived in Georgia (1996) my daughter and I have attended the Nutcracker at the Fox. Once the live music was taken away and canned music was used I took a stand and refused to go. Every year the Atlanta Ballet would call me asking me why I wouldn't attend and try to sell me discounted tickets. This year they contacted me with half price tickets and the promise that there were select performances with an orchestra. I immediately bought tickets and the performance was as wonderful and beautiful as ever. All I can say is as long as there is live music I'll be there with bells on,

Pinocchio was a great family event.

by BroWeeble214 on 10/26/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

This was truly an enjoyable event to attend. If I had children I definetely would have brought them to watch this performance. All the performers (dancers and narrator) did an excellent job of portraying the story of PINOCCHIO.

    Great family performance

by CB09 on 10/26/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

This was a great performance to bring the kids to. The student dancers were amazing! I would highly recommend any of the family performances the Atlanta Ballet produces. It's a great introduction to ballet for little kids.

    Atl Ballet is AMAZING

by Tomb169 on 10/25/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

The performers were incredible. At one point, my daughter turned to me and said.."Dad, he just did 13 consecutive turns!" The interpretation of Mozart's Magic Flute was very intersting. We were captivated throughout. The orchestra and the singers were awesome. We highly recommend this show. (the only downer was the "cone head" of hair on top of the woman in front of me. Tall hair...please sit in the back.)

    Pinocchio was Perfect

by TeamTravel on 10/25/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

This was the first ballet or performance that my twin 3 year old daughters got to enjoy. The expression on the face on my wife and daughters was as precious as the performance put on by the Atlanta Ballet group. The performance was the perfect length for little ones and the performance was truly captivating. Regards, Bryan

    Atlanta's Ballet - Mozart's Magic Flute

by CPriode on 10/25/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Fantastic performance. The Atlanta Ballet is such a skilled group of dancers that bring to life the most wonderful stories - new and old. I enjoy all of their performances. This one was one not to be missed. Very impressed with the Principle Dancers of the company. The orchestra and vocalists were magnificent.

    Magic - Magic Flute

by Joy4J on 10/24/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

My husband says it was the first opera he ever enjoyed! We also had the best seats in the theater...front row seat...and could see the facial expressions...it was just such a very special event! It was very creative, not your traditional ballet.

    Terrible...don't waste your money

by star3000 on 10/19/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

We left and did not stay for the entire ballet. It was sexual and difficult to understand, follow or even care about. My daughter, age 13, was embarrassed by the sexual content. Really, it should have been a better experience for the money I paid.

    Exceptional Production!

by Flutist1 on 10/18/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

We all know that the Atlanta Ballet's dancers are first class. No surprise there. However, the superior quality provided by the musicians and voclists made this a production not to be missed.

by CB09 on 10/18/09Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Great blend of dancing and singing. Best of both worlds (ballet and opera). I would recommend this to anybody, young or old. It was fun, exciting, and full of talented performers and musicians.

The musique and singing were absolutely fabulous . The dancers are very good. But it would be a great improvement if they did not have to dance on a bare stage with no background of any sort, the second act was much better due to the special effects.

I'm from Taiwan. I've enjoyed Ballet performance and Opeara since I was in childhood. Your performance of Magic Flute is a great combination with humor and imagination. I appreaciate your contribution to my excellent night !
