I accompanied my 8 year old granddaughter who has practiced ballet for four years, and attended the ballet at Cobb Energy Center before. I was surprised at how many parents brought toddlers and preschoolers who cried, fought with siblings and generally tore up. Never again will I attend a “kids matinee “.
Superb orchestra! Fantastic ballet talent, props, backgrounds, narration! Friendly and helpful staff! Granddaughters LOVED it!

I enjoyed the entire three performances, especially Seranade. Dorothy Alexander, founder of your company, was given the Balanchine rights to Seranade as well as his Nutcracker choreography. I danced with your company many years ago and learned parts of Seranade. I wanted to jump out of my seat and join the corp!! Thank you for an amazing evening!
My 11 year old daughter and my first live Ballet, and it was amazing! My daughter just started training in Ballet, and the experience is bringing her out of a shell. I’m so excited to see her evolve in dance. We will be attending many more.
It was our first time visiting Atlanta Ballet, but it will not be our last. Everything was great. Thank you so much for a wonderful show.
My granddaughter and I loved every moment of the performance. We enjoyed the three World Premieres, my granddaughter has danced since she was three years old, now seventeen, she really appreciated the choreography and the work that went into the performances. We look forward to our next Atlanta Ballet production.
the name of the ballet was Firebird. very misleading. it was just the last dance. all programs were fantastic however I was expecting one ballet based on the name.
The choreography, costumes and set were a treat. I enjoyed the other short programs especially the one just before the Firebird.
We saw the Firebird which included 3 additional performances (all of which were about 30-40 minutes long). We regularly go see the annual Nutcracker show, but we wanted to branch out this year. We were not disappointed - what these dancers and choreographers can do is pretty special. You don't need to be a ballet aficionado to appreciate the art and talent of the Atlanta Ballet. Take a chance on a new experience.
I was expecting a full length ballet...not 35 minutes. The dances performed prior to Firebird were just mediocre. Very disappointing day. I reread the Atlanta Ballet website and no where did it indicate that Firebird was not full length. Waste of time and money
HEARTBEAT was excellent! The music was incredible, and the choreography enchanting! I highly recommend that the Atlanta Ballet repeat this project.

The ballet was absolutely beautiful! The costumes, the stage design, the dancers - all phenomenal! My girls enjoyed it so much, and we had great seats for a super low price (hint: first row of the Mezzanine is a GREAT location). I will definitely go back to see another ballet again, soon!
Enjoyed every moment of this modern ballet set to the background of jazz, beats and gospel - fresh combination to keep the audience engaged - wondering what comes next. Best description is a cross between ballet and Westside Story. ... Definitely a treat for sight and sound!
I enjoyed everything. The pianist for love fear loss was worth the ticket price herself. The last number, impulse, was exciting and really visually stunning. I was pleased.
Wonderful selection of music and choreography. Amazed that the men held up through all the lifts required during the performances. Would have liked more elaborate backdrops to enhance the dance themes.
This was my husband and I very first ballet and we really enjoyed it. We liked all of the performances but our favorite act was the All or Nothing. This was a great experience for our first of many!
This is the perfect intro ballet for littles since it is only an hour and has a narrator to tell the story. Highly recommend!
