Slim Jim Phantom's Rockabilly Circus was one of the most fun shows I have ever seen. Non-stop entertainment. Deke Dickerson was wonderful, and what can you say about Wanda Jackson. Highly recommend if this show comes to your town.
The first 3 numbers where amazing. The only disappointment was Wanda. To much talk not enough singing. The prize was great for such a good performance. 3 out of 4 was not bad. Would love to find out if you have more of these mixed performances on the schedule.
Great music. Non stop for almost 4 hours. Four bands. Two classic and two younger that played their hearts out. Thanks to Slim Jim for putting it together.

Kim Lenz...amazing! Deke Dickerson...outstanding! Slim Jim was MC and did some drumming. Sonny Burgess and Pacers were good. Wanda Jackson lived up to her living legend status! 4 hours of Rockabilly Haven!
What a great show and something that seems not to be booked in Madison anymore. So drove over to Milwaukee to see 4 rockabilly artists; 2 classic artists who began their career in the 50s at the start of it all and 2 younger artists who may be lesser known. I really liked the Kim Lenz and Deke Dickerson part of the show the best and the guitar interplay between Deke and Joel Patterson was amazing. (Patterson's band the Modern Sounds backed up everyone except Sonny Burgess.) Deke was his old, comical self and had a couple novelty songs to keep everyone in stitches. Wanda Jackson did pretty much the same show I saw 9 years ago but good to see she is still out rocking. Her voice really got going after the yodeling song! Would have liked to heard more of Sonny Burgess's old stuff. (He did 4 but otherwise the band did some over-done things; not sure I need to hear another version of Mustang Sally or Wipeout for a while.)
One of the BEST shows I have ever seen! To have that many talented people on stage was incredible!!!! I truly hope that you bring this kind of show back regularly.
