About

Jason Ross is one of dance music's premier acts, while simultaneously being one of the scene's more elusive figureheads. That's not due to any fault of his productions, but rather, purely due to his versatility. Once a mainstay on the legendary Anjunabeats and a rising star of new age trance shepherded by Above & Beyond and co, Jason quickly outgrew the boundaries of four to the floor grooves, expanding into the less finite space of broken beats and pop vocals of melodic bass.

A blossoming working relationship with melodic bass propagator Seven Lions led to genre defining tracks like Higher Love and Ocean, backed up by beautiful, elongated and gently weaving trance discography featuring the likes of Cairo, Atlas, and his 2019 Anjunabeats EP Rooms.

The ability to weave the emotion and hypnosis of trance into the more commercial grit of melodic bass has made Jason's recent catalog uniquely his own. His unique multi-genre tinged approach to production shines on genre-defining tracks like Shelter, his Blanke collab One More Day, his solo single Wild Ones, and his Gryffin collab After You, among others.

His sub brand - Atlas - is a moniker that defines who Jason is as an artist: worldly and all inclusive. Shying away from needing to stick to certain sounds or expectations, and instead choosing to meld genres and fan bases, Atlas aims to capture the range of Jason Ross by emblazing the concept on everything from merch to his digital fan groups, to his forthcoming 2022 full length artist album, out in August 2022 on Seven Lions' Ophelia Records (and a follow up to his 2022 inaugural artist album, 1000 Faces).

You can catch Jason on tour this fall around the U.S.

by Ev on 1/15/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Security was not plur they did not allow me to bring in my kandi in a clear bag but many were allowed to come in wearing Kandi make it make sense please. Other than that venue was great restrooms were kept clean there all night and all the artists were amazing.

Great mix of genres, something for everyone!

    by Mhill7 on 12/21/22Echostage - Washington

Last Heroes, Trifecta, Mitis, and Jason Ross all killed it. Trap, melodic dubstep, even some hardstyle?? Couldn’t have asked for a better show

    Amazing Performance, But...

by Ben on 12/21/22Echostage - Washington

There was way too much bass when the main events came in. N3WPORT, Last Heroes, and Trivecta gave amazing performances. However, when MiTiS came on, it was like he cranked the bass knob all the way up, which is great and all, until you constantly feel your whole body vibrating for almost 3 hours. It's just too much. I don't know if it was the venue or their sets, but it just wasn't the best. Last Heroes was great and Trivecta threw down without over-blasting bass. Still an amazing time and I love echostage.

    Didn't live up to expectations

by Tcatyuhyuhyuh on 12/20/22Echostage - Washington

Wish he played his music and not filler tribal beats. I'm a big Jason Ross, MitiS, and Trivecta fan. They all kinda subbed in some of their actual music with lame eurobeats. Didn't hit for me. I'll think twice before buying tickets to see him again. Maybe that's why the shows was so empty.... Coulda played his new album from front to be back and it would have be 10x better

    WHAT IN THE BANGER??!!

by Coffee Brakes on 12/13/22San Jose Civic - San Jose

First off, I want to appreciate how far Jason Ross has come in his career. His set was surreal and matched the energy of his lineup (Ray Volpe, Last Heroes, Kepik) TBH, I expected a more chill/ melodic concert and Jason Ross just ends up throwing out bangers which made me break my back (figuratively). As if Ray Volpe didn't already go hard enough LOL. Anyways, the Atlas Tour was a great event and I hope San Jose gave out that positive energy. 100 percent would see him again! Going down the Ophelia list!

    Jason Ross tour 2022

by Vee on 12/13/22San Jose Civic - San Jose

The performance is really nice with full set up. However, I hope the SJ civic center’s speaker will be upgraded cause the sound doesn’t good at all. Staffs are nice and I feel safe there more than others stadiums.
