Best show I have seen in years

by Mc on 3/12/24The Loft - Atlanta

The ocean put on one of the best shows I have seen in 25 years of going to concerts regularly. The sound was incredibly dialed in and the bands energy was incredible. Don't miss these guys if you get a chance.

The openers Shy,Low and The World is Beautiful Place...we're phenomenal! The Ocean came out with a bang and rocked the night. My second time seeing these boys live and I am not disappointed!!! Much much love to the crew , I will be there for sure when y'all come back!!!

    The openers stole the show

by FatSambo on 4/2/14Masquerade - Atlanta

I went to this show expecting Scale The Summit to blow me away. Instead, Silver Snake and The Atlas Moth stole the show. Don't get me wrong: STS were musically and technically brilliant. But, the less complex and more emotionally engaging music of Silver Snake and The Atlas Moth won me over quickly. Silver Snake remind me of ULTRAMEGAOK era Soundgarden (you know, before they wussed out). Driven by Mike Trujillo's thumping bass lines, the band put on a solid set of original music that pumped up a lazy crowd. The Atlas Moth was second. They blend doom metal and metalcore with classic rock mainstays (you MUST hear their version of "California Dreamin;") They had entranced for a 45 minute set. I was so impressed I had to have more and bought two of their CDs and force my new found enjoyment on anyone I can corner long enough. Scale The Summit was third and played 75 minutes of technically brilliant instrumental prog-metal, but it left me frustrated. I found it hard to get excited over their set. Nice guys, amazing players, but a bit boring. The Ocean were sans a bassist, but put on a great set, though i would have loved to have heard some from their FOGDIVER EP. Still, a great set

It was a dream come true.

by TheMidgardKnight on 4/13/11Jaxx Nightclub - Springfield

I've been waiting for years to see this band. The last time they were in the US, I couldn't see them because they played in NY, NY which would have been a 4+ hour drive. So finally getting to see them, with some of my best friends, was definitely a dream come true. They play with so much energy and everything sounds exactly as you'd expect at an Ocean show. It was probably the best performance I've seen. I even thought about traveling to the Baltimore show the day after, it was so awesome.
