    Blasters at the "Blues"!

by Hankabilly on 6/13/17The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Blues with the Blasters at the house of blues! Incredible night. Phil Alvin's voice, master musicians, great venue with a crowd ready to dance. Best authentic blues band.Ultimate American rockabilly experience. Can't wait to see them again!

    Blasters show was outstanding

by ddeennii on 6/13/17The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

I got tickets to this show as a surprise for my husband. Invited friends to go as well as our 19 year old son and his friend. It was a great time for all of us.

    Classic American music.

by Anonymous on 6/12/17The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Original LA concrete cowboys. No horses needed to blaze this trail. Took a 41 year old "kid" in his Zeppelin shirt. He had no idea this music existed.

You Don't Have to Spend $150 to See a Great Show

by mtwashington on 3/20/11Altar Bar - Pittsburgh

Give me a solid band in a small venue with great sound and it doesn't get much better than that. I appreciate an extravagent show ("The Wall") with great staging etc, but the bottom line is the music. The Blasters delivered it from start to finish. I was dissapointed earlier that day that Dave Alvin is no longer on board, but his replacement did just fine. I hope to see many more shows at Altar Bar.

they don't call them the Blasters for nothing

by Fich on 3/19/11Altar Bar - Pittsburgh

Great show. Lots of memorable tunes that I loved hearing again. They were in top form, down to the jokes (well maybe the jokes were not so top form). How many times will you hear yodeling, straight on rock and roll and James Brown in the same show?

    Waited 30 years for this.

by HarmonicaPete on 3/16/11Trocadero - Philadelphia

Coffin Fly kicked ass. Great kids. They get it already. Delco Nightingale was amazing, as usual. Erin owned the room. The Blasters still got it after lotsa years. Phil looked & sounded great. I honestly didn`t expect to be that impressed.

Wyane the Train Hancock - MUST SEE!

by Reener2 on 10/24/10Coach House - Capistrano - San Juan Capistrano

Wayne Hancock put on an incredible show! We will definately look up future gigs to attend. Close your eyes and you're hearing Hank! The guys in the band were amazing! Great show! The Blasters on the other hand were a complete disapointment! Would have like to have known in advance that Dave Alvin wasn't playing. It was only 1/2 of the Blasters ----- I think we saw the BLA, vs. the Sters!

    Blaster's sweaty but good

by 63punk on 10/24/10Coach House - Capistrano - San Juan Capistrano

Jesus Phil sweats like a broken faucet! His voice is still incredible and they played forever. Not crowded but the Coach House sucks to see a band. Sitting for two hours in hard on the ass. Plus, it looked like Leisure World in there! It was a good show. Wayne The Train seemed angry and not really wanting to be there, but he has such a great voice. However, he looks like a San Pedro dock worker or a gas monkey. Good show.
