Boyzone Tickets

Founded by Louis Walsh in 1993, Boyzone achieved unparalleled success in the ‘90s. The group originally comprised lead vocalist Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy, and they were widely touted as Ireland's answer to Take That. With 25 million records sold, Boyzone enjoyed chart success all over Europe, including several No.1 albums and numerous top-selling singles. To date, the band have achieved 19 top five singles in Ireland and 18 top 10 hits in the UK. Two of their albums, A Different Beat and Where We Belong, went straight to the top of the British charts, a feat achieved previously only by the Beatles and Oasis.
Boyzone's early singles were covers of ‘70s pop songs, including their 1994 début, a cover version of the Four Seasons' hit “Working My Way Back to You.” Their second single was the Osmonds' hit “Love Me For A Reason” taken from their first album Said and Done, which topped the album charts in the UK and Ireland. The band continued to release top-selling albums throughout the late ‘90s, including A Different Beat, which provided the band's first UK No. 1 single, a cover of the Bee Gees' hit “Words.” Their third album provided some of the most famous singles of all time, including “All That I Need,” “Baby Can I Hold You” and “No Matter What.” In 1995 their platinum-selling cover of Cat Stevens' “Father and Son” reached number two in the UK and No. 1 in Ireland.
A decade later, the band members went on to pursue their own projects: Ronan Keating as a successful solo artist, Keith Duffy as an actor appearing in Coronation Street and Stephen Gately starring in West End musicals, including Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Dancing on Ice on ITV1. The band announced a comeback in 2008, appearing on BBC One's Children In Need and releasing Love You Anyway, which peaked at number five in the UK charts. In October 2009, the band were left devastated when Stephen Gately died from natural causes at the age of 33.
Boyzone won numerous BRIT Awards, including Best International Newcomer, Best Intentional Group and Best International Single. Their 1997 hit Picture of You was awarded the prestigious Ivor Novello award for Best Contemporary Song. In 1998 the band appeared with U2 in the music video for the Sweetest Thing. Boyzone have toured extensively throughout Europe, including their recent 2013 20th anniversary tour, BZ20.
