SAM SMITH IN CONCERT:

British singer Sam Smith had a huge 2012, rising to international acclaim virtually overnight as the featured singer on Disclosure's breakout single "Latch." Since then, the young belter has established an impressive following in his own right with an appearance on the Naughty Boys' No. 1 single "La La La" as well as several preview cuts from his 2014 studio debut In the Lonely Hour. Possessing a depth of tone and breadth of range that belies his young age, Smith floored fans at his 2013 shows, setting expectations high for his 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born in Cambridgeshire, England, Smith studied vocals and songwriting in his teens under the mentorship of jazz vocalist Joanna Eden. His big break came at just 20, when he got the opportunity to collaborate with rising British electronic duo Disclosure on their breakout 2012 single "Latch," a Top 10 UK hit and ubiquitous presence at clubs around the world. Smith's unique vocal on the track became one of the most recognizable musical moments of 2013, leading to an appearance on the Naughty Boys' UK No. 1 "La La La," the country's fastest-selling single of the year. Shortly thereafter, Smith made his solo debut with "Lay Me Down" and the chart-topping  "Money on My Mind," the lead singles from his highly anticipated 2014 studio debut In the Lonely Hour.

    Amazing from the 4 songs we seen

    I was bought tickets for christmas to see sam unfortunately the concert was cancelled after just 4 songs, would love this concert to be resheduled for Manchester again as we feel we bought merchandise but wont look at the programme as all who attended that night never got to see the show. Tickets should be prioritised to everyone who attended that nignt who would love to attend again.

    The show was incredible from start to finish, every act was perfect, the dancers, costumes and stage designs were phenomenal. Sam was simply outstanding in every sense of the word. I’ll never miss one of their concerts. <3

    Easy entry, Sam’s performance was amazing, an African-American larger bartender in the Chase bar was fantastic but drinks were outrageous. Need Better signage to find Transportation.

    BEST CONCERT IVE EVER BEEN TO

    I’ve been to a lot of concerts but this was by far the best. Sam and their team did an amazing job. They sound just like they do in recordings. I can’t believe how great of a performer they are. Definitely will be coming back to support next time they’re on tour!!!! What an amazing experience!!! Wish I could live it again!!

    The show was great, amazing even. Just the venue drinks were insanity. 60 dlls for a small whiskey on ice, and a small margarita. Prices were super high.
