This small venue was ideal for seeing max and his band playing everything you wanted to hear. Their expertise and performance level were great and fun to see up close. I’d recommend them to any fan.
As a huge Springsteen fan, I was in awe being up close and personal with Max Weinberg, a member of the venerable E Street Band. Max was very personable, wandering in and out of the audience, mike in hand, inviting audience members to request songs from the band’s list of 200 songs, from artists such as Joe Walsh, the Beatles, Paul Simon, the Stones, the Hollies, and many others, and also inviting audience members onstage to assist with percussion duties. One memorable moment came when Max relinquished his drum kit to a member of the audience who he had earlier on discovered was a drummer, inviting him to play, with the band, the song of his choosing (a respectable “Wipeout”). The band members (from Jersey band The Weeklings, who have played with Styx among others), were no slouches and were great on vocals and guitars. Amazing to witness their ability to make the guitar take on the roll of Clarence’s sax on “She’s the One” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out”. A great show in a beautiful venue, well worth risking the icy roads to attend.
Seeing this Rock and Roll Hall of Famer in such an intimate setting was a treat! As a long time fan of the E Street Band, Max's energy and talent has not waned. Additionally, the band members he had with him were incredibly versatile and ridiculously talented. The format of the show was fun , differnt, and created an amazing tone. If you weee there, you know. If you weren't, you are sorry you missed it.
We thoroughly enjoyed Max and The Weeklings, singing along and dancing in our seats!
Max and band were superb. The price was great and the small venue wonderful.

highly entertaining evening with great cover band - the weeklings. special moments included 'gimmie shelter' with guest vocalist, 'rocky mountain high' and of course one or two Bruce offerings. Hard rockers great, oldies not so much. Max served as master of ceremonies with abundant energy..
The show was a lot of fun. Our bartender was terrific. Max is incredible!
Max Weinberg's Jukebox at the Stone Pony was so much fun! The band was tight, the song selection was great & of course, the venue is iconic! And, it was such a treat to get a taste of Max's wonderful personality! Fun night for all!
