    Great performance-venue not so much

by Music lover on 11/19/21Varsity Theater - Minneapolis

I havent seen Augustana in 15 years, and he still has it. Amazing voice, performance was captivating. I hope to see him again! The venue however leaves a bit to be desired. It was a cold night in Minneapolis and Im not sure they even had the heat on. The vast majority of the audience kept their winter coats on, some wearing hats. They need to turn on the heat, and they can make their heating money back at the coat check. Highlight of the venue is the bathroom. It really is a must see.

    Great experience

    by J.R. on 11/19/21Varsity Theater - Minneapolis

This was our first public event in about two years. It felt weird to be out there but I'm really happy with how well the varsity handled the vac and negative test checks. I was wondering if it was just going to be a joke but they had multiple folks at the entrance checking everyone. Made me feel a lot better to be sitting in the room with everyone else. The opening act was surprisingly good. My bf and i both really enjoyed the talent and passion john- Robert had for his music. And of course seeing Augustana was amazing. I've been a fan since highschool and this was worth the wait. He's still got an amazing voice.

    Always deliver!

by JHobs on 9/1/19Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens Bank - Boston

From the very first time I say Augustana on tour with Counting Crows forever and a day ago until now, they are just so good live. The band is right, creative, and the songs are fresh as ever. I was reminded why I keep coming back and will not miss a chance to see them!

Augustana a not on their game

by rockOnDude on 11/21/14Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I saw Augustana a few years ago at the paradise and the show was incredible. Full of energy and passion. This one was ok but it felt as if they needed to get out of there. I just did not feel the same passion from the band. Daniels voice seemed off so that might be part of it. I hope to see them on their game again next time.

    Augustana better than ever

by Uge1786 on 6/3/14House of Blues Boston - Boston

The band sounded better than I ever remember . They seem pretty charged up , did a little of everything. Didn't do too much talking or "sermonizing" just came out and played. For the encore they took requests and left the crowd very happy.
