About

In 2012, renowned boy band Westlife released their Greatest Hits collection, delighting fans with the addition of four new songs to accompany their hit-heavy catalog of smash singles. This preceded the announcement of a new tour that generated such excitement that tickets sold out in a matter of minutes. The album debuted at No. 1 in Ireland and No. 4 in the UK, cementing Westlife’s long-running string of chart-topping studio successes. Westlife’s 2012 concerts in the UK and Ireland included back-to-back dates that sold 170,000 tickets over only two nights.

In 1999, the band released “Swear It Again,” which was their first number one single. More singles from their debut album, "Westlife," also topped the charts, including the double-sided single, “I Have a Dream/Seasons in the Sun,” which was the UK Christmas number one. Their string of successes continued with the release of their second album, "Coast to Coast," which included two more No. 1 singles, and before they were done, Westlife had set the record for the most consecutive No. 1 singles in the UK with seven chart-topping hits. Westlife continues to work in this chart-topping fashion, crafting singles and albums that touch audiences deeply and making their concerts and tours events that their fans anticipate with excitement. Westlife takes the mold of the boy band and breaks it. They lead rather than follow. They have sold over 50 million albums so far. Through 14 No. 1s and 26 top ten singles, it is clear that Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan know how to live the Westlife.

Amazing!!!! and it only took 24 years.

by Nicole on 4/20/24Meridian Hall - Toronto

I went to 5 of the 6 North American shows. I had the time of my life!!! Their vocals and harmonies are superior to their competitors. As an American fan and after waiting 23 years, I went to see them in the UK. I much preferred the North American venues because they were so intimate. I missed Mark both times and hope he gets better. With that said, Shane's voice is phenomenal and he can carry the lead going forward if Mark cannot continue. His voice makes me melt and cry especially during "Swear it Again."I fully admit to balling in the first row. That was a week of memories I will have forever. I truly hope they will come back (especially to NYC) in the future. The ONLY suggestion I have for them is to skip the medley section (Abba), and sing more Westlife tracks!!!!!! Fans are desperate for a new, fresh setlist of songs we love!

    WOW!!!

by Ian Rhae B. on 4/16/24

These guys really know how to put on a fantastic show and give audiences exactly what they want! I went to their concert in Radio City Music Hall (St. Patrick’s Eve ‘24) and it was long overdue, as this band’s been around and loved by fans like me for two decades or so. THEY DESERVE SOLD OUT CONCERTS AROUND AMERICA. The only thing I didn’t like about their otherwise flawless NY concert was how it started about half an hour late (8:36 instead of its scheduled 8 pm start). It would’ve been nice to spend more time with them, y’know? Hoping and counting on more shows in more US cities next time they tour. Love them!

    Uptown fan meets Westlife

    by Van Garden on 3/26/24

The experience was extremely amazing. The moment that they showed up to stage, I was really in tears. It was the feeling of disbelief because I can only hear them over the radio or watch them in the computer back the days when I was still in the Philippines. But now that I have moved in Chicago, I really just can’t believe that I personally have witnessed their concert. Nicky Byrne was my childhood crush 🥰 Aside from the tears rolling down from my eyes, I was shouting for them and screaming Nicky’s name.

    My dream come true

by Arlette on 3/23/24Radio City Music Hall - New York

It was a wonderful experience for me. I traveled from Costa Rica to this show because I had waited for more than 20 years to see Westlife live, so this was my dream come true. I'm so happy!

    Westlife in Boston

by Tammie on 3/23/24MGM Music Hall at Fenway - Boston

The show was phenomenal - beyond imagination!!!!!! I can't wait for them to come back and do a bigger tour, aka FENWAY like they said! My experience was almost perfect, except for the fact that people from back rows kept running down and crowding the aisle and trying to get into our rows, which was distracting, and very little was done to enforce and to keep people from crowing the aisle.

    Great Time!

by Ronald L on 3/22/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Had a great time watching this boy band from the late 90's that my siblings and I grew up to. We flew from Los Angeles to Chicago just to see their first North America tour. The venue was beautiful and the supporting staff at the venue were wonderful. Highly, highly recommend this venue!
