Blistering banjo, Americana rock driven blues..., the ultimate one man band, Thank you Sir William!
Small venue, 50 people maybe. William Elliot Whitmore is the man. I’ve seen before, and he never disappoints with song and stories and fans” bestowing lavish libations and appreciation. When ever Whitmore comes to Cali, I drive to see and love to watch. Great performer of ole timey porch music. His voice is leathery and soulful, he’s the man.
From the first moment to the last, William Elliott Whitmore’s performance was amazing. His connection to each person was sincere. His voice, banjo and kick drum took us on a beautiful journey as he expressed his joy, pain, love and hate. His conversation with the audience and some close friends not seen for a while, because of the pandemic was filled with gratitude. He shared that he and his wife had a new baby to raise. He thanked the management, staff and crew of the Echo for their hard work and shared his appreciation of the wonderful experience he had as a performer, returning to Los Angeles California and The Echo. Then he left the stage and the audience’s applause continued.
Great venue, great music, great show! Venue was clean and organized, musicians were amazingly talented and professional, and we got a treat with an opening act (Walter DeBarr)! So much fun.
