    Absolutely stellar!

by Amanda on 5/29/22The Echo Lounge & Music Hall - Dallas

The venue was great, even the parking attendant was kind! Drugstore Cowboy put on a phenomenal opening act. Gang of Youths was one of my top 10 concert experiences (and I’ve had a lot)! The whole crowd dancing with David Le’aupepe, the emotional range, the technical performance… 💯

    Incredible band, great venue

by Clayton on 5/27/22The Echo Lounge & Music Hall - Dallas

This show was incredible! Great venue, great crowd, and of course amazing band. I like the intimacy of Echo Lounge, and the staff were awesome (especially after coming in with torrential rain from the lot).

    Unexpected Energy

by Gabriel on 5/27/22The Echo Lounge & Music Hall - Dallas

I’ve listened to this band before but this was my first live experience. I was introduced to them by a friend and we jumped on the chance to see them live, because she said it was unlike anything else. I was skeptical, but man, I tell you it was true! Lead singer David Le’aupepe’s charisma and energy is infectious. His band-mates, Donnie (drums & percussion with a broken hand) Jung (guitar), Max (Bass and married to someone in my hometown) and Tom (Violin and stolen from Mumford and Sons) were all smiling and enjoying themselves, which was extra infectious and really drew me into the show. I’m normally one of those fellas that soaks the vibe in silently and still, but Gang Of Youths had me jumping and dancing with them. Young David shared a few songs with us that were emotional (Brothers, and I think Forbearance) that did hit home. Overall, man, I had a blast and am really hoping to see them again.

    Worth checking out

by Zizi on 5/22/22The Belasco - Los Angeles

They were so much fun and just seem like the most honest dudes that want to make the crowd feel something. Anything. I loved it.

The best live show I have been to in a long time!

by 91XDad on 5/22/22The Belasco - Los Angeles

David Le'aupepe has the voice of Neil Diamond, the stage theatrics of Michael Hutchence and Jim Morrison, and the essence of Eddie Vedder. The group puts on a great show!

    Exceptional

by Cloda1 on 5/21/22The Belasco - Los Angeles

Gang of Youths is without a doubt a force and an inspiration in the crowded musical scene. Their sound and honesty is not only unique but refreshing. Dave is magnetic and his presence on stage supports the gravitas of the band. I have been a fan for a while and I am bigger fan after having had the opportunity to see them live.

    Fun interactive experience

by Chips on 5/12/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

The venue was fine and i was able to get up to the front row. I was not too fond of the introductory band. The crowd and the musicians looked and felt tired though the lead musician tried to change things up by giving very emotional performances. I loved that they were trying to engage their patrons and creating a scene. It was a great fun time!
