British Rock band, The Struts--named from an offhand comment about their unbridled stage presence-- have earned a global reputation as a must-see live act. The band, comprised of lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies, was formed in Derby England in 2012. Bursting onto the scene with "Could Have Been Me", they have since released three albums (including collaborations with heavy hitters like Robbie Williams, Kesha, Tom Morello, and Def Leppard's Joe Elliott and Phil Collen), earned the No. 1 spot on the Spotify Viral Top 50, appeared on shows like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, garnered more than 850M on-demand streams and sold out shows across the globe. Praised for their onstage swagger and musicianship, they have opened for The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters and Guns N' Roses, played major festivals like Lollapalooza and Governors Ball as well as headlined their own world-wide tours. Now signed to Big Machine Label Group, the mesmerizing rockers have released their new anthem-rocker single, "Fallin' With Me."
Can't say enough about the awesome music and energy the Struts have! I hope they are around for a long time, would see them again for sure.
11/22/2023 - Knitting Factory Boise - Openers were Mac Saturn, Detroit music at it's finest. While not necessarily a fan of that type of music, I appreciate the band's live performance and had fun watching them. Second time for The Struts for me, Love their music and love even more their live performances. Great energy, audience participation, showmanship, top quality music from an underrated Guitarist Adam Slack, great drumming from Gethin Davies, unfortunately, bassist Jed Elliott had some technical difficulties right before his bass solo, and then Front man Luke Spiller leads the show for the benefit all of the old and new Struts fans. Great experience, especially at the Knitting factory, where the show is intimate and every place in the venue has a great view. Go see this band when they come to town!
Excellent band. The music was tight and they put on a great crowd interactive show! I think they are going to launch into a big stadium/arena band. I'm blessed to have seen them at the Wiltern's intimate venue! I get the feeling like it was seeing Queen, The Police or Green Day just before they popped big and will only be playing large arenas soon! Awesome to see them Live and love the music!
LOVE The Struts! Most incredible band and their show is amazing! I went to see them twice. They are SO good!!
The Struts play the theater like a stadium. Great energy, fun show.
Came for one of the openers Mac Saturn, but enjoyed the other acts as well. Hot For Crime (the first opener) was really good and Mac Saturn was amazing as I am a huge fan of theirs. The Struts was amazing as well. They really know how to get a crowd going. The singer’s voice was 🤯🤯 Great show overall!!
The Struts were great. High energy and sounded fantastic. They put on a very entertaining show. Was our first time seeing them and first time at the Wiltern. Will definitely see them again!
Is it my hearing, or is it, again, the lead singer's mic needs to be turned up just a bit to be heard through the music?
We saw The Struts at the Fillmore in San Francisco. They put on such a fun show! They are very engaging with the crowd, and played all of their great hits. I will absolutely go see them again when they return to the Bay Area!
Great venue, sound system, and sound engineer. The venue is an intimate experience wherever you are standing or seated. Opening band Mac Saturn was so awesome, tight band, crisp sound, fabulous musicians and vocals, great pop rock songs with a retro 70's R&B / Funk vibe. The Struts were amazing as usual with a lively performance, great songs, great sound, fabulous musicianship, and Luke's amazing vocals. Their new songs sound amazing live. Overall a fun night.
