Other than a minor microphone issue Atlantic Starr was AWESOME but when they performed SEND FOR ME it was DROP THE MIKE LEVEL-Everlyn Champagne King was FIRE - GREAT GREAT SHOW everyone was up dancing with Evelyn -please bring them back soon.
It took 35 minutes For the band to decide to share a microphone. The microphone never did work. A lot of their music is duets. The first three or four songs were muted, that was really disappointing. They still sound really, really good. Not sure if it was the band or the venue that was supplying the microphone?
Atlantic Star is a GREAT BAND with GREAT Albums and I have them all. The audio crew FAILED them MISERABLY. The microphones wasn’t working at the beginning of their set but being the EXPERIENCED VETERANS that they are they persevered.Im a HUGE Fan of ATLANTIC STAR.
All three performances were great! However, the sound people need to be fired! They could not get the mic's right for Atlantic Star. They didn't get them corrected until their last two songs! Very disappointing!
Evelyn Champagne King did a Amazing Performance and Entertained the Entire Audience
Atlantic Starr could care less about their fans experience. They had a problem with the microphones and one of the artists could not be heard they kept singing and their response was oh well oh well is not a response for a group that has been touring for over 40 years. The very first song was circles and the lead singer sang the whole song and no one in the crowd could hear her and the band did not care. It was my 60th birthday weekend and I was looking forward to this concert for months and I was very disappointed in the band and their attitude.
I was very disappointed with sound system and would like to know if something is going to be done about it
Nobody wanted them to leave the stage when it was current call.
Gave their absolute best at the "Heart & Soul Festival" at the Apopka Amphitheatre on Oct. 14th!
The band sounded just as good as they did 40 years ago. Phenomenal performance! I've been to Country Club Hills Amphitheater many times and never been disappointed!! It's a great venue, they always have awesome, talented musicians from my Era, and everyone is so respectful and friendly. Those bands were so great that even my 30 yr old friend was impressed and she's never even previouly heard their songs. Thank you to all for a very enjoyable night!
