About

With over three decades on the scene, Bad Religion are iconic stalwarts of the Southern California punk movement. Comprised of equal parts musicianship, rancor and intelligence, the band is known for their onslaught of well-crafted, finely executed songs of social commentary and sardonic wit. Tickets to their live concerts bear the holder witness to relentless, rapid-fire sets that span the breadth of their career, including entertaining diatribes of insight from frontman Greg Graffin. Their 2013 European tour featured over 40 concert dates across 15 countries, treating fans to extended sets of their decade-spanning catalog. Following the release of 2013's True North, which garnered positive reviews and peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, the band kept fans guessing with the release of Christmas Songs, an album of holiday covers done in the band's signature spitfire style.

Since their inception in the early '80s, Bad Religion has remained vital to the identity of punk and hardcore. Their gold-certified 1994 album Stranger Than Fiction is a classic of the genre, gaining the band widespread attention and their first bana fide hit with the prescient "21st Century (Digital Boy)." In 2002 the band released The Process of Belief, garnering another round of praise from critics for hit single "Sorrow." With a whopping 17 studio albums and two live albums, Bad Religion has achieved commercial success without compromising their upstart ideals, and a legion of dedicated fans looks forward to their 2014 tour dates.

    Still got it

by BillD on 10/28/23Empire Live - Albany

After 42+ years, these guys are still great. A little more gray, but it has not stopped them. Last saw them in 1995 and not a beat has been lost. Greg Graffin still has the same voice. Cannot recommend seeing Bad Religion enough.

Still bringing it 42 years on

by Chuck H on 10/27/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand Rapids

BR was fantastic as ever. Good split between the newer tracks and the classics we all love. The venue was odd for a punk band, but it was clean and the sound engineering sounded good. Thanks for the music fellas - hope you heard me screaming the lyrics from the nosebleeds!

Bad Religion never disappoint when they tour. Their sets are amazing, fast paced and full of energy. They play a wide selection of songs from their extensive catalogue Interact with the audience. A definite mush see band. Can’t wait til they come back around.

    Still great!

by DLS on 10/25/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand Rapids

A lot of times when I go see bands that I loved when I was a kid, the energy they bring seems old, kinda dried out like an apple that’s been sitting on the counter for too long. It’s still good, but it’s a bit mushy. That’s not the case with Bad Religion. They’re just as energetic and sharp as they were when I saw them way back in the early eighties and I was 13/14 going to punk shows in LA with whoever would take me and wherever I thought I could get in. Just a great show. Thanks

    Always a blast.

by YA HEY! on 10/25/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand Rapids

Always a great experience seeing these living legends. Easily the most far reaching influential band in punk music even though most of their music could be categorized as many different genres of rock. Have been following them for 25 years all over the Midwest and they never disappoint! Wishing them another 40 years! YA HEY!

The opening acts were excellent (we had not heard of either) and Bad Religion was PHENOMENAL. It was our first time at the venue and we LOVED IT. Can't wait to see another show there!
