About

Madonna launched her debut tour in 1985 -- The Virgin Tour -- in the United States and Canada. Shortly thereafter, she toured the world for the first time, embarking in 1987 in support of Who's That Girl. Over the ensuing four decades, Madonna would ignite the world with the most controversial and dynamic pop shows ever mounted, selling out nearly every tour -- in its entirety -- in seconds. To date, Madonna has performed about 700 shows across 11 concert tours, generating over $1 billion in ticket sales, and is the highest-grossing female touring artist of all time.

    Wow

Spectacular production! This is definitely one of her best concerts. She’s quite ethereal and youthful, dancing and moving like a woman half her age. It’s a very tight and cohesive show, kudos to her team and to Madonna for an incredibly exciting performance.

    Madonna is the Queen

by Michael T on 4/17/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Madonna still puts on such a high energy, high intensity performance and the Celebration Tour still delivers. With so many costume changes, complicated choreography, and signing songs from all 4 decades this show is so impressive and was worth the wait. Loved everything about the show and wish I could see it again!

    Queen

The show was better than expected. The Moody Center needs to do better with rideshare pickup areas and random wifts of the toilets

    Madonna ATX

by AJ on 4/17/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Excited for this concert, but was disappointed in the end. The long wait in a hot arena was not a good start to such an anticipated event. It just felt disrespectful to fans, especially when you consider the mean age of the audience.

    Strong if uneven show

by FJR on 4/17/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Madonna performed quite possibly the most extravagant (in terms of production) concert I’ve seen. There were a few issues — her well-documented late start time, the tangential monologues, long dance sequences —, and yet the show was a spectacle. Madonna is an icon, knows she’s an icon, and puts on a show that cements her icon status.

very good show, but the sound sounded very distorted. I had to turn on the air conditioning, it was very hot.

Two Hours Late / Lacks Passion

by Nirepolita on 4/17/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

I have a lot of respect for Madonna and all she has accomplished. Her music is good and I’ve enjoyed most of it over the years. However, the concert seemed to lack passion and she comes off as very arrogant. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that it started 2 hours late!

    Hot Yoga with Madonna

by SBinATX on 4/17/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Madonna fans already know she hits the stage at 2 hours past the posted concert start time. She went on at 1030pm and performed until almost 1am. What we weren’t expecting was how hot the Moody Center would be. We received an email stating the artist requested that the arena was hotter than normal. On Sunday night, everyone was sweating and the AC was off. Not sure if she was trying to recreate the sweaty hot club environment of our 20s? But for as much as some people paid for her tickets…a little air circulation would have been nice. We like AC in Texas. It is hot here. She played all the hits and her costumes and dancers did not disappoint. But wear short sleeves and take a fan!
