NEW FOUND GLORY IN CONCERT:

The morning of a New Found Glory concert, feel free to skip your coffee or Red Bull -- you'll get all the energy you need once the Florida-bred punk rockers take the stage. Since bursting onto the scene almost two decades ago, they've been giving punk contemporaries like Green Day and Blink-182 -- both of whom they've supported on tour -- a run for their money as one of the genre's most influential acts. They continue to live up to that reputation with show-stopping live performances packed with hits from the early '00s and recent jams off their 2014 album Resurrection. Frontman Jordan Pundik riles up the crowd with catchy choruses, inviting ticket buyers to revel in his spectacle as the band plows ahead at full steam. Some things never change -- mosh pits and crowd surfing are still staples at New Found Glory's live shows, creating an adrenaline-filled atmosphere that perfectly suits the band's epic catalog of shout-along anthems.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

New Found Glory was formed in 1997 in Coral Springs, FL by singer Jordan Pundik, guitarists Steve Klein and Chad Gilbert, bassist Ian Grushka, and drummer Cyrus Bolooki. Their debut EP, 1997's It's All About The Girls, introduced them to an enthusiastic underground fanbase and landed them a deal with Drive-Thru Records. In 1999 they released their debut full-length album Nothing Gold Can Stay, which spawned the hit single "Hit Or Miss" and peaked at No. 15 on the US Modern Rock Chart. They followed up in 2000 with a self-titled sophomore album that reached No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and spent 21 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. Their third and fourth albums -- 2002's Sticks And Stones and 2004's Catalyst -- peaked at No. 3 and No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and were certified gold by the RIAA. The band has been playing as a quartet since guitarist Steve Klein left the band in 2013, but they still rock as hard as ever on their must-see tours.

I didn't Expect An Acoustic Show.

by Sosweede on 3/24/23Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

Arrived expecting to see a typical NFG show and what I got was an acoustic show and it was GREAT!!!! Really enjoyed the music and change of style. I bought the album right after the show. Not your typical NFG show but well worth taking the time to see.

    Different but fun

Really different hearing an acoustic of pop punk while sitting in a theatre. Had to resist the urge to get out of my seat and jump around all night but great set and perfect song selection

New Found Glory @ The Town Hall

by Norm on 3/21/23Town Hall - New York

New Found Glory concert at The Town Hall. The venue itself is a small, historic theatre incredibly close to Times Square and a short walk from Grand Central. Venue is clean, bathrooms are small, (men's is downstairs, but it's really not that big of a deal). The walk from the front door to the theater itself is about 15 feet, there is 0 way to get lost inside. I sat in the very back row of the theater and had a great view. The floor is pitched so you have a good view no matter what. From the back row, still a close view, great seats worth saving some of my $. Unless you are on the absolute wings/outside of the theater, you really won't have a bad/awkard view. Sure you may have to zoom for your IG photos, however, sitting there not staring through a camera I had a great show. I'm 6'2" so the seats were a little close, but honestly, used to it from every other seating arrangement venues have - think high school auditorium, those complaining have to be 6'5" and up, it's not that bad. In the lobby they had a small cart serving wine, simple mixed drinks and beer (which they pour in a plastic up). They were NYC prices, so no surprise there. Merch tables were set up, but it's a small lobby so your only "inconvenience" is your line may wrap up the stairs to the balcony... again not that big of a deal. NFG put on a hell of a show, had the audience singing the whole time. And for a concert where it looked as if everyone would be sitting, especially during their acoustic tour they were on, we were all standing by halfway through the first song. Great concert, great band, they've not lost a step and the vocals are still on point even 20 years later, not flat like some have understandably become singing punk rock into their 40s. I never leave reviews but always look at them, hope this helps clarify some of the negative things I read.

Awesome Show in a Intimate Venue!

by Pete on 3/20/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

I’ve been to least 10+ NFG shows in the past 20 years and this way bar far one of my favorites. They sounded on point, played tight as always, and had a great stage presence! Super fun to experience an acoustic show by them in such a chill venue.

by Retro Rick on 3/20/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Really cool to see one of my childhood bands do an acoustic set. The whole place was singing along. Love how they made it more of an intimate performance.

    Acoustic perfection

by SarinaBettina on 3/20/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

New found glory gave an amazing performance. I’ve seen them live tons of times and this time was different obviously because it was acoustic but they still put on an amazing show. One of the most talented bands there is for years.

    Great Show!!

by AL P on 3/15/23Flagstar Strand Theatre for the Performing Arts - Pontiac

Was skeptical over an acoustic tour with seats! Never saw NFG from a seat before and have seen them around 25 times now. They put on a great show - even brought the next generation fan along with me and we had a great time. Looking forward to future shows and music from them. Coffee was a great touch in the lobby, and the venue was fantastic. Great experience.

I got the chance to do the VIP package, and it was totally worth it! The band was really chill and it was so much fun to talk to them, and the small, intimate venue made the show unforgettable!!!
