    A moving show

by Leslie on 2/18/24Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club - Portsmouth

I was brought to tears multiple times during both Shawn Mullins’ and Glen Phillip’s sets. Both are such gifted lyricists and story tellers. The sound was amazing, and we had great seats at Jimmy’s. I’ve seen Glen play many, many times. He’s a genuine, heart-based talent. So glad we were able to score tickets.

    Beautiful Show!

by Frankengirl on 4/17/18Abdo New River Room at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Wow, what a beautiful, intimate show with these amazing artists. We were up close and personal like Nashville singer/songwriter style. My husband and I had a great time and Glen Philips was more soulful than ever. The Abdo theater was quaint and the sound was perfection. Would love to see more shows here. Go see Glen Philips if you are a Toad the Wet Sprocket fan!! You'll love this special evening!

    Best singer/songwriter around.

by LarryVenturino on 4/17/18Abdo New River Room at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Glen Phillips is the best singer/songwriter of our time. When you look at the most popular artists out today, they don't compare to his voice, his lyrics, and songwriting. Why isn't this dude selling millions of records still? It's a show not to be missed. Saw Toad The Wet Sprocket multiple times when I was in high school and I've seen Glen Phillips solo twice. The show was absolutely beautiful and amazing. The venue - Abdo New River Room is a very cool venue. Nice, intimate setting. The sound was great. It's in a cool section of town amongst several other spaces that the Broward Center for the Arts is home to. We drove an hour and a half for this show. Wish I lived closer so I could go there more often. Every time Glen Phillips is playing anywhere near that I can reasonably get to, I'm going.
