MADBALL IN CONCERT:
New York hardcore punk outfit Madball continues to be a scene mainstay, delivering ferocious, blistering sets of their anthemic tunes to devoted fans around the country. The band's amped-up live shows are truly raucous affairs, whipping fans into a frenzy as frontman Freddy Cricien howls over scorching numbers like "Heavenhell" and "Infiltrate the System". From Cricien's high-octane stage antics to the frenetic mosh pits in the crowd, there's plenty for ticket buyers to get fired up about on Madball's must-see tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Madball formed in the late '80s as an offshoot of seminal NYC hardcore band Agnostic Front. Longtime Agnostic Front singer Roger Miret began letting his younger half-brother Freddy Cricien share vocal duties on the band's tours, and by age 12 Cricien was fronting Madball, a side project that featured several other Agnostic Front members. The group made their debut in 1989 with the EP Droppin' Many Suckers, supporting the release with a blitz of shows that earned them tremendous underground popularity. After several years of extensive regional touring the band released their debut LP, 1994's hard-hitting Set It Off. They followed up in 1996 with the album Demonstrating My Style and continued to release records steadily throughout the '00s, touring extensively over the years and earning a reputation as a must-see live act. In 2014 the band released their eighth studio album Hardcore Lives, an aptly titled record that underscored their enduring commitment to New York's hardcore scene.

Madball is one of those bands that just gets better and more intense by the year. Most bands reach a point where they calm down and relax and start playing softer songs but madball has managed to increase their intensity and quality of their performance year after year because of their true dedication to the music that defines them. Whenever they tour it is a must see show guaranteed to never disappoint.
Madball tore it up.... NY hardcore style! The Welschley Arms were awesome too! and although they're all speed metal, Corrupt Absolute was good too...especially the drummer!!!
