love going to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester NY for live music! The Porno for Pyros show was outstanding! Tigercub from the UK were the opening band and they were great!
Finally, aft gonna be er all those years of being a fan, I got the quench my thirst. Purely delightful, inspiring and simply beautiful and of course there’s the fact that you’re seeing an absolute All-Star cast of musicians. Boy to hear Watt and Perkins play together. Oh my God. For me per Ferrell, he’s like some legendary shaman. The fate would have it. I was lucky enough to catch while I was on terra firma. This can’t be it.. I’m gonna get people to sign a petition..P:S Thanks for the memories one last time under a full western Moon…2/24/24
Great set! Sad that this will probably be it....if it truly is the farewell they said it was going to be, but if it is, I'm glad I was there to see it. It's never been a disappointment and this time is no exception!
Had such a great time ! They were a big part of my art school days and the memories were pouring in . Felt like I was trippin on shrooms
This show exceeded my expectations and reminded me of why I’ve always loved this band and the musicians so much.
This is going to be a short review. This band NEVER DISAPPOINTS. Perry Farrell is a genius and Peter, Mike and Steve rock harder than guys more than half their age. Thank you for a great show.
The band put on a great finale show to the tour. Jammed out for over an hour and 30. Glad I decided to go....
Stephen Perkins & Peter DiStefano are at the top of their game, and they made it a thrilling show! A bit of an unceremonious finale for Porno For Pyros, but it was an honor to witness it.
The show was great. Seeing Mike Watt on bass was amazing. I just didn’t understand why Perry Farrell’s wife was in the band? Besides for the obvious t+a aspect of her performance what was the point? She was supposedly singing back up vocals put her microphone was turned down so much you couldn’t hear her. The band could of done well even without the unnecessary bimbo.
It was a fantastic experience which was worth the price and my time. Glad it was on a Friday night and at a good venue like Hammerstein Ballroom which ended at a good time. I am not sure why they can't sell records or their new EP. We should benefit over people who did not go. The t-shirts were way too much money but that is inflation for you. I did give in and buy one because they are special and it was a farewell tour. I also bought tickets for the LA show using VEEP. Certainly invested a lot in them.
