    Romantics

by MrMark49 on 6/6/17Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - Cabazon

Excellent show, beautiful location, The band members signed Tee shirts and spent time with the crowd. I would strongly recommend you adding them to your list of bands of the past to your list

    Smithereens are the greatest

by Keyge on 9/8/14Eastside Cannery - Las Vegas

The show was excellent! Met Tommy Heath ( Tommy Tutone) after show. He was very nice. The Romantics were great as was Marshall Crenshaw. However, the Smithereens were tremendous. Love Pat, Jim and the gang. Don't miss them.

    too little music...

by tomc420 on 9/8/14Eastside Cannery - Las Vegas

There were four bands listed on the bill, and the first two (Tommy Tutone, Marshall Crenshaw) were over in under half an hour. The Smithereens stole the show with an excellent set, but it clocked in at 35 minutes. We then got a less than excellent set from the Romantics, also short (maybe 40 minutes). In all cases it seemed just as things were getting going, the set was over.

The Romantics rocked the roof off!

by darwingirl on 9/8/14Eastside Cannery - Las Vegas

Each group, Tommy Tutone, Marshall Crenshaw, the Smithereens and the Romantics was musically tight. The Romantics had all the energy and musical skills they did during the '80's. Fun, fun, fun!

    The Romantics Rocked Reno!

    by dpacka1 on 5/25/11Reno Ballroom - Reno

The Romantics rocked Reno Saturday 05/21/11 in a concert which featured their signiture tunes "What I Like About You", "Talking In Your Sleep", and "One In a Million", as well as at least one, titled "Midnight to Six", from their most recent album 61/49. The Romantikcs more than satisfied those who remember them from the 1980's, and impressed younger ones in the crowd. The band is tight and demonstrates great muscianship. Band members Coz Canler and Mike Skill both play amazing lead guitar riffs. One of the founding members, Rich Cole, has returned to the group to add his higher vocal range to the harmonies, allowing the group to play more melodic songs from their first three albums. Brad Elviis, the drummer, is quite the showman, and will remind you of Keith Moon of the Who and Ringo of the Beatles with his energetic playing. Lead singer Wally Palmar is one of the great rock & roll harmonica players, and continues to deliver strong vocals on all of their memorable hits. If you have a chance to catch one of their concerts, do so. They are professionals in every sense of the word, and work hard to deliver a concert you will long remember.

    Romantics Still Rock

by icd9rn on 8/28/10Atlantic City Hilton - Atlantic City

I saw this show at a casino, and the small venue was just about perfect for these guys. Although we are all a lot older now, I felt like I was back in college, and these guys can still bring it. They did all the old favorites and some deep tracks, as well as brought out some newer stuff.
