    Great show! Very entertaining!

by Geebee on 2/28/24The Lyric - Baltimore

The Whispers didn't disappoint! I have enjoyed them for well over 50 years. They took us back down memory lane! I have also enjoyed the Dramatics for many years and they also put on a great show. preceding them, Black Ivory and the Ebonies were both very entertaining. The show opened with a brother (I can't recall his name) who did very well with his rendition of a well-known song. The Whispers and the Dramatics provided numerous songs and the other 2 groups sang about 3 songs each. The live bands for the Whispers and Dramatics did their thing!! We were very pleased and entertained.

One of the best shows I've ever been to. I've seen them all before, but all the acts were the best of all times.

    Great Show bad seating.

by Margo on 2/20/24The Lyric - Baltimore

The show was awesome. The sound system is magnificent. Only problem is the seats are to close there is no leg room at all..especially for someone disabled with bad legs or knees to be comfortable while enjoying the show. I love the shows offered by the Lyric but they could renovate. Also, the elevator was not working which was problematic for anyone with leg or knee problems. With the cost of tickets and number of shows per year I'm sure they could do some renovation to make customers comfortable...But I guess if we continue to go......

    Valentine's Soul

by Envy on 2/19/24The Lyric - Baltimore

I think the show was awesome. I really enjoyed myself and I'm hoping for more shows like that in the future. It reminded me of when my parents would play their albums in the basement at our New Year's Eve party and get togethers.

    Get down performance

by Twink on 2/19/24The Lyric - Baltimore

The show was absolutely the greatest. The various groups had me dancing in my seat and a few times I stood up lol. I love the oldies but goodies songs. It has so much meaning. The Whispers stole my heart, I loved them from way back and they sounded the same. Please continue to have the groups back in your Venue, we don't want our music to vanish. Love the entire show!!!!! Excellent performance by everyone!!!!!

    Dressed Up For Nothing

by tony on 2/19/24The Lyric - Baltimore

The tickets were too expensive, the show should've been on Saturday instead of Friday. No one actually dressed up, audience and performers. The sound system at the Lyric is, was, and has been bad for decades, the seating is too tight and uncomfortable. No Peaches and Herb, The Dramatics suck but LJ still can sing, not the original Ebonys, Black Ivory do what they do. The Whispers didn't dig into their catalog of songs, they didn't sing Wet My Feet, they may be tired of doing it.
