About the Allstate Sugar Bowl

The Allstate Sugar Bowl has established itself as one of the premier college football bowl games, having hosted 28 national champions, 103 Hall of Fame players, 52 Hall of Fame coaches and 21 Heisman Trophy winners in its 89-year history. The 90th Allstate Sugar Bowl Football Classic, which will double as a College Football Playoff Semifinal, is scheduled to be played on January 1, 2024. In addition to football, the Sugar Bowl Committee annually invests over $1 million into the community through the hosting and sponsorship of sporting events, awards, scholarships and clinics. Through these efforts, the organization supports and honors thousands of student-athletes each year, while injecting nearly $2.4 billion into the local economy in the last decade. Pre-game Experience

    by Hayes Boyz on 1/1/24

I am so excited to take my two oldest grandson of six to experience the 2024 Sugar Bowl, Washington vs Texas. We have no dog in the fight , just a gift and entertainment for the game from Big Daddy. The oldest is a 2023 first time Football Conference Champion at Louisiana Christain University and the second is a 2023 Middle School All-Star game Champion. We plan to have a wonderful time at the 2024 Sugar Bowl game. Good Luck to the best team of today. Happy New Year 2024

    Fun time

by Football on 1/3/23Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

Event was fun and well organized. Great experience to share with my son. Some opposing fans being acting out and screaming at other fans was the only draw back

    Decent

by BVF on 1/3/23Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

Lines to get in weren’t bad. Concessions were bad, CC reader wouldn’t work at the first try so the cashier was running them 3-4 times each to get a read. She gave up and let the guy in front of me leave with a huge order at no charge. My 2 bottled waters finally went through on the 3rd try so I got to pay. Not sure why I couldn’t keep the cap, so of course half of my water was spilled. Before halftime, the main concession stand didn’t have hot dogs or peanuts, so the only food offered was nachos or popcorn. Bathrooms were being remodelled so everyone was outside using portables, nowhere to wash hands. Good game and everything else was fine, but guest amenities were pretty bad.

    Brilliant

by Daz on 1/3/23Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

First time at the football, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Easy and quick entry considering the footfall. Plenty of different varieties of food and drink on offer. Great views from our seats in block 339. Football very exciting. Even during the stoppages plenty going on. Great day out.

    Vik Verma

by Ian, college football enthusiast on 12/12/22

Is this review underneath mine a joke? If you are scared of covid, DONT GO OUT IN PUBLIC. You don't own people and you cannot tell anyone what to do. Did the stadium, NCAA, New Orleans or any legal document EVER say they would require masks or vaccinations? No. Go home. Stay home. Don't ruin college sports viewership for people who don't believe in government lies.

    Disappointing

by Vik Verma on 1/4/22Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

Despite multiple notifications via text and email and prominent signage at stadium, NO stadium staff verified vaccination cards or proof of negative test at entrance. Very few people wore masks. We left around half time despite the game being close.

It’s Time Sugar Bowl - Superdome Horrible

by Russ on 1/4/22Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

The sound in the Superdome was horrible - couldn’t hear penalty explanations, or anything said during game. Instant replays during live action. Can’t be given the top to a $5 bottle of water so a child won’t spill it! Or so an adult can sip along. The audio at the tailgate party in Championship Square was way too low. All in all - my first will be my last!
