There was no harmony just a lot of noise. I saw their first show at the Saenger Theater many moons ago and this was just as strange and uneventful. I wouldn't pay a third time. They are all wonderful musicians, this threesome just doesn't work. I wanted to enjoy the show musically, just wasn't gonna happen second time around either unfortunately.
Such a great show! Cant believe how well they played agter so much time away. Hope we get more Oysterhead in the coming years. New album coming?!?!?!
The show itself was great! Claypool, Copeland, and Anastasio are three of the best living musicians out there right now! The venue was nice, but the lines to get inside were an absolute mess. The metal detectors were way too close to the doors, leaving no space for actual lines to form. Instead, everyone was pushing and shoving to get through, because there wasn’t much organization.
Berkeley and Stanford will be epic! Great new material.

Could have had a better experience. It was everything I had hoped for. The venue was excellent and the event staff even better.
Don’t even know what the F to call what I experienced Saturday night, but there was some shape shifting going on for sure. At one point Claypool turned into some sort of swine like demon belched up from the bowels of Hades that summoned antlers from Trey’s guitar as he watched in awe, all the while Copeland hammered a Druid master transition to morph 6500 into Bosch-like critters writhing like figures on Rodin’s Gates of Hell. The incessant searing scorching blistering pounding delivered by Oysterhead is incomparably beyond anything I’ve seen in my 45 years of live music.
Open the doors earlier, you will sell more beer! Not a bad seat in the house great sound!
What a great pair of shows!! A much more mature Oysterhead with a LOT more jams! All 3 seemed to truly be enjoying themselves on stage. First night felt like a cannonball shot out of a monster cannon. Second night was paced well yet ferocious! Worth the travel. Worth the wait!
When all else has been done and said... Along comes mister OYSTERHEAD!
