Detroit Pistons History
One of the most storied franchises in NBA history, the Pistons moved to Detroit in 1957 from Fort Wayne, Indiana, where they were owned by Fred Zollner and known as the Fort Wayne (Zollner) Pistons. The Pistons played at Olympia Stadium for four years, then moved to Cobo Arena. In 1974, Bill Davidson purchased the team, and in 1978, the team began playing at the Pontiac Silverdome.
Prior to the start of the 1988–89 season, the Pistons moved to play at The Palace of Auburn Hills and won back-to-back NBA Championships in 1989 and 1990 with the "Bad Boys" teams. Detroit's "Goin' to Work" squad picked up the franchise's third NBA Championship in 2004 in the midst of making six consecutive trips to the Eastern Conference Finals.
In addition to the numerous team accomplishments, the Pistons also have had a list of great players and coaches who have contributed to the team's long history of success. Detroit has retired jersey numbers for Chuck Daly (2), Isiah Thomas (11), Joe Dumars (4), Dave Bing (21), Bob Lanier (16), Dennis Rodman (10), Vinnie Johnson (15), Bill Laimbeer (40), Ben Wallace (3), Chauncey Billups (1) and Richard Hamilton (32). Daly, Thomas, Dumars, Bing, Lanier, Rodman and Davidson all have been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena
Little Caesars Arena (LCA) is home to the Detroit Pistons, as well as the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL. It also hosts other sporting events, concerts, family shows and trade shows year-round.
Built in 2017, LCA is the centerpiece of a 50-block sports and entertainment area known as The District Detroit. The District Detroit unites eight world-class theaters, five neighborhoods and three professional sports venues in one vibrant, walkable destination for people to live, work and enjoy exciting entertainment in an urban environment. By housing the Pistons, Red Wings, Tigers (MLB), and Lions (NFL), Detroit holds the unique distinction of being the only city in the country to house four professional sports franchises in one downtown area.
The Detroit Pistons’’ 2023–24 regular season kicks off in October at Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, when the Pistons face off against the Miami HEAT. The Pistons host their home opener against the Chicago Bulls on October 28. High scoring game, the Pistons made most of their 3 pointers. Jordan Poole put on a great show for Golden State by hitting 3 - 3 pointers in a row cutting the Pistons lead from 19 points to 10 points. In the fourth quarter the Pistons took the lead for the victory.
Love going to Pistons game, so much fun. First game I witnessed Pistons winning and it was against the warriors
Not a fan of music being played while the basketball game is going on especially at the volume it was at, tainted the experience for myself and my wife celebrating her birthday.

Lil Caesars Area hospitally is always top notch. It was good to get away and enjoy the live game of NBA badketball!
My kids loved getting the opportunity to sit close to the players. They were in awe. However, regular season tickets are too expensive, especially to sit in the lower bowl. We only get to go to one game a year because of the price.

The game was so fun. The club had so much good food and dessert. You can get dessert from the court. You can hear the players talking and see how tall they are free pop but you have to buy alcohol though. -review written by an inspired 11 year old-

It’s been several years since we last attended a Pistons game!! So glad we were able to be in attendance!! So much fun!! The children had so much fun!!! We can’t wait to get back there to explore the other side!!! We didn’t see any HOOPER plushies for the little fans, maybe you’ll consider!!! Parking with ParkWhiz was awesome!!
It was a good close game. Even though they lost, I still had a good time being at the game.
Friendly and caring workers, awesome booths for merchandise and marketing products. Great light show and music throughout the game and of course amazing half time show and game to watch.
I wanted to enjoy my game day experience. I was expecting to see the entertainment team before the game. I did not. I entered the 5050 raffle and did not catch the numbers and I did not see any info in the Pistons app. The app barely has game day info.
Parking is way to Much 25 is enough we paid 45 also the food is way over priced this is ridiculous
