Detroit Pistons History
One of the most storied franchises in NBA history, the Pistons moved to Detroit in 1957 from Fort Wayne, Indiana, where they were owned by Fred Zollner and known as the Fort Wayne (Zollner) Pistons. The Pistons played at Olympia Stadium for four years, then moved to Cobo Arena. In 1974, Bill Davidson purchased the team, and in 1978, the team began playing at the Pontiac Silverdome.
Prior to the start of the 1988–89 season, the Pistons moved to play at The Palace of Auburn Hills and won back-to-back NBA Championships in 1989 and 1990 with the "Bad Boys" teams. Detroit's "Goin' to Work" squad picked up the franchise's third NBA Championship in 2004 in the midst of making six consecutive trips to the Eastern Conference Finals.
In addition to the numerous team accomplishments, the Pistons also have had a list of great players and coaches who have contributed to the team's long history of success. Detroit has retired jersey numbers for Chuck Daly (2), Isiah Thomas (11), Joe Dumars (4), Dave Bing (21), Bob Lanier (16), Dennis Rodman (10), Vinnie Johnson (15), Bill Laimbeer (40), Ben Wallace (3), Chauncey Billups (1) and Richard Hamilton (32). Daly, Thomas, Dumars, Bing, Lanier, Rodman and Davidson all have been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Great seats, exciting game down size one popcorn and Coke cost 14 bucks.
We bought the tickets for someone else to watch the pistons play after the high school games.
Staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. The over priced parking, beverages, (pop) and food will keep me from returning to your venue.
I came to see a game where the home team at least put in some type of effort. But No . Was nothing like that.
On January 23rd 2023 I attended a basketball match between the Detroit Pistons and the Milwaukee Bucks at LCA arena. This was the first time I attended a basketball match at the LCA arena. It was a very pleasant experience.
It's my third game at the little ceasar arena with the Pistons and it's always a pleasure to spend a couple of hours there. Top show and great entertainment!!! My only improvement ideas would be to get some tables to eat your meal when you order one at the different snacks present in the stadium and to have more space when you are seated (I'm 6'3 and 205 lbs)
The seats were awesome. We were in the perfect spot to see all the timeout and halftime festivities. It was also great getting the parking pass through Ticketmaster… all we had to do is scan the phone. Really good experience as always with Ticketmaster💪🏽
Everything nice and the crowd was loud food was excellent and staffing was very nice
We had just the best time. Great seats (section 118 row 16) total entertainment throughout. Brought 6 kids who just had a blast. Fight on the court in the home bench made for lots of excitement. Detroit won too so that helped. Telling everyone it is a must do when in detroit and the pistons are playing.
I was happy to be back at a Piston's game for the first time in 3 years until I Sat down in my seat and was assaulted by the Bass from the speakers. The incessant sound track hurt my ears and made it so I couldn't comfortably talk with my sons who were at the game with me. It's possible that the sound level should be adjusted when the arena is only 30% full and there aren't enough bodies to adsorb the sound. I likely won't be returning
I was in the second row behind the Nets. This was the best game I’ve been to! The Pistons definitely put up a good fight! Just wish they would have thrown tshirts our way but it was still fun
Little Caesars Arena is a fantastic venue. Great seats. Really good food. We were first row in the mezzanine, which is a really good place to sit for value. The ticket purchase transaction which seamless. I’d definitely do it again.
It was my 1st time in vip all u can eat seats which is dope it was my woman 2nd time n her friend 1st we had a blast can’t wait to attend pistons vs pelicans 1/13/23
Got there at the end of 2nd quarter. Had no problems other than other people not knowing how to read the numbers. Took forever to sit down because someone was sitting in one of my seats.
Surprised my son with tickets to see his favorite player Ja Morant! He loved every minute of it!! It was a great experience for him!
Went to a Pistons game for my son's birthday. The venue is great, the team is always fun to watch, no issues there. But the tickets were not anywhere to be seen when I accessed my account. I had to jump through hoops to get into the venue, couldn't even get into the building and out of the cold with my kids without a working ticket from my phone. We had to walk from one entrance to another just to be scolded, saying they will no longer print paper tickets, that I need to figure out why the tickets weren't appearing on my phone. I am a pretty capable person and have never had issues with mobile tickets before. I spent $200 AND had a confirmation number which they were able to pull up my tickets no problem, so to tell me they won't honor "paper tickets" anymore is ridiculous, especially when it's a technological error. We were able to get into the game eventually, but really put a damper on my son's birthday.
Detroit was / is a great city. I love the arena. Ease of getting there. Great fans. Good concession. Will return.
The game itself was amazing. The music they played and events they did to keep excitement up was incredible. Highly recommend!
Great seats but team was a big let down Might b a while for the next one playing like that
