Boston Bruins History
Established in 1924, the Boston Bruins were the first American team to join the NHL. They won their first of six Stanley Cup championships in just their fifth season in 1929, defeating the defending champions New York Rangers. It was the first Stanley Cup championship to feature two U.S. teams. The Bruins added championships in 1939 and 1941, and between 1943 and 1958 they reached the final five more times.
After the arrival of future Hall of Famers Bobby Orr (a three-time MVP) and Phil Esposito (one of the greatest goal-scorers of all time and the first player to score 100 points in a season), the Bruins won Stanley Cup Championships in 1970 and 1972. The image of Orr flying through the air after scoring "The Goal" in overtime to defeat the St. Louis Blues in 1970 is one of the most memorable in hockey history.
On April 9, 2023, the Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3, marking their 63rd win of the season and setting a new NHL record for the most single-season wins. They made history again on April 12 when they reached 133 points scored in a single season thanks to a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals, besting the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens for the NHL team with the most points scored in a single season.
Twenty-nine straight appearances in the Playoffs followed — a record among all professional sports — including Stanley Cup Final appearances in 1974, 1977–1978, 1988, and 1990.
After a two-decade absence, the Bruins returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2011, defeating the Vancouver Canucks in a thrilling seven-game series behind the goaltending of Tim Thomas. To date, the Bruins have made 20 appearances in the Stanley Cup Final, including most recently in 2019. Legendary players who have worn the Bruins’ jersey include Hall of Famers Cecil "Tiny" Thompson, Eddie Shore, and Aubrey "Dit" Clapper.

Boston Bruins at TD Garden
Since opening in 1995, Boston's famed TD Garden has hosted more than 200 sports and concert events a year. The award-winning state-of-the-art TD Garden is New England's largest sports and entertainment arena, and doubles as the home of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics of the NBA. In 2014, the arena underwent a comprehensive renovation to give the fan experience an upgrade with redesigned concourses, new concession offerings and upgraded technology. Located in the heart of Boston and convenient to public transportation and tourist attractions, TD Garden can host 17,850 fans per game.
The Boston Bruins’ 2023–24 regular season kicks off in October at home as the Bruins face off against the Chicago Blackhawks. To celebrate the team’s centennial season, Boston will host five Era Nights honoring various teams and players from throughout the team’s history on October 28, November 18, December 16, January 20 and March 7. For the 2023–24 season, the Boston Bruins have updated their logo with a special “anniversary crest” to celebrate the team’s centennial. The logo was revealed by the Bruins in June 2023 and uses several design elements celebrating the team’s past.

The tickets were easy to purchase online - we got the ski package so we enjoyed a day trip to Loon Mtn in NH as part of our ticket price. Getting into the garden and showing our vaccination status was quick and efficient. We sat in the balcony and still had a great view! Only thing that would have made this evening better? A win for the B’s!!!
We had a great time watching the Bruins defeat the Buffalo Sabres on New Years Day. Seats were excellent. We felt safe & most of the time were socially distanced. Many good options for adult beverages and food at the concessions. It was raining so we parked under the Garden; big bucks to park but worth it in inclement weather. Our 3rd game so far this season and we want to go to at least one more.
My husband and I and my father in law all attended the Boston Bruins game! Couldn’t be more happier with my tickets and my seats.. although it was a bit tight. Overall my experience was awesome! And ticket master is definitely a plus. Thank you
I've gone to many events at the garden. I think that this is the fastest I've ever gotten through security. And where my train was late I for sure didn't arrive earlier than normal.
My wife and I attended the Bruins, Flames game recently. Our second Bruins game of the season. The first game was much different, most folks wore masks and respected the infectious disease protocols. The most recent game had few folks wearing masks in any way; whether coming, going, seated or not. I'm not ranting in any way, my wife and I are pretty laid back about almost everything, including Covid. We're both well past retirement age and have a few health issues that complicate health care and significantly increase the risks of contracting ANY disease. While we both enjoy hockey at the Garden, my wife especially, we will likely be forgoing any additional Bruins games for the remainder of the season.
Everything was perfect with the exception of the cheeseburger I paid $18 for. I did find $20 on the ground though so it all worked out.
Got a suite seat! Private locked room with <10 people for this game and a private bathroom. No food in the suite unless you get a lot early for a big group, so the food court would be great if you were a member but non members food court is just pretzels and pizza if you ask around. Push through to the “commoners” area to find more food on lower levels I guess, dispute what staff say telling you that is all. This was frustrating. Throughly enjoyed the special short line entrance though and early entry! Hockey game was awesome. Had a great time. Good views.
First NHL game I have ever been to. Super fun atmosphere and nice people whenever I needed guidance. The food and drinks were pricey but what do I expect at a game. Hockey is now my favorite sport and the Bruins are my favorite team. Go B’s!!!
Took train down from Portland to enjoy the Bruins. Great seats, great victory over the Sharks. Try to attend one game a year since I moved to Florida 12 years ago. Was also able to get the special warmup puck for my collection. Will see the Bruins again in Jan when they play in Tampa. Bruins fan for life!
Bruins out on a great show, best part of the non game was the little kids playing hockey on the ice during the intermission. Great food selection and happy the Men in Black got the Win!
Great seats!! Fun atmosphere with it being opening night ..always helps when the Bruins win..no issues with the transaction..so a really good night.
Very disappointed that anybody can sit in the handicap seat without even being handicapped. Know wonder why I never get a seat
Smooth sailing with parking, dinner, e-tickets, seats, and game. Would love to see more replays on big board than fan fare. Go B's!!!!!!!!!!

We had a great time at last Saturday's Bruins game vs. Arizona. The win just made the afternoon complete. Our son, daughter-in-law & granddaughter where sitting in 2 sections away at the same level within sight. Our seat location was great and offered a good vantage point for all the action. The re-designed seats at TD Garden are tight and confining and we can't believe they changed them from the original just to cram maybe 1,000 more people in the garden. Getting in/out of the garden & to/from our seats was easy. Concessions were good, beer was cold, but be prepared to spend a lot. If you never been to a Bruins game at TD Garden be sure you dress for the winter as they keep the temperature very, very cold and drafty.
We have been going to the gardens for decades- thought we knew what to expect- BUT this time seats have changed drastically !!!! My husband is 5-8” 180lbs-I’m 5-4” 145lbs - 2 tiny teens— who did fit their seats- can’t say that for myself or husband nor for the person next to me!!!! I’ve had more room in a middle seat on an airplane in economy!!! This was a terribly expensive experience- sad to say our days of going to the “gardens” are over! The quest for the almighty $$$(addition of extra seats) ruined what used to be a fun special experience for us!
Had an opening in my schedule and grabbed a last-minute ticket to the game. So glad I did! Purchase was easy, seat was terrific, and the game was fantastic.
