Overall very good. Confusing when they have actors play multiple roles and they don't look much different. Thought the Apollo theater gig was overdone. Didn't need to portray them as in fear of it. They knew where they were. Cheap gag.
Love the show and then had dinner after show which was also great
One of the best shows we have seen! Great musicians and vocalists! Absolutely loved the show’s finale! The historic Maryland Theater in Hagerstown was definitely rockin’ and rollin’ that day! We also met the coolest 75 yr old lady (our age) who drove by herself from Baltimore to celebrate her birthday. She showed us pix of her trip to India kissing the elephants. Happy belated birthday Lynne!
This show was better than any broadway show. The best ever
All of the music took me back to my childhood memories. Such a shame to lose such talented people at such a young age. However, their legacy lives on. The only part I felt was lacking was the narrative about his personal life. It left me just waiting for the next song.
Buddy Holly lives! If you closed your eyes you would have thought it was him.
I loved the "Buddy - Buddy Holly Story" musical. Even the hubby really enjoyed it and he doesn't like musicals but came for my birthday. The actors brought these legends to life. If you love Buddy Holly this is a must see.
We simply loved the show! It was high energy and so musical! The characters were so good. Andrew Harvey, who played Buddy, was spot on!
What a terrific show, talent beyond compare, awestruck by the performers, just couldn't get enough!
My husband and I were extremely impressed with the vocals. It almost felt like we stepped back in time and were watching Buddy Holly himself. Great performance by all!
