BEST CONCERT EXPERIENCE EVER PERIOD!! Amazing songs, band, and Jon was in top form. The crowd was awesome, the sound quality was good, and the concert was amazing.
Jon was amazing, his voice is still as crisp and clear after all these years. It is one of the best concerts I have seen in over 25 years. Jon and his band covered some truly great yes songs, it was incredible. It was a moving and almost spiritual experience. This concert left a lasting impression on all of us who attended. Simply amazing!
Totally awesome his voice was in great shape in the band was excellent
What an amazing performance. I have been attending YES and Jon Anderson shows since 1972. I have seen upwards of 150 shows. This was one of the top 5. I could see & feel during the first song that this was going to be special. A few nights prior in Fairfax was very good but this was special. The band was tighter and it was easy to see that they were feeling it. By Jon's expressions and actions I believe he felt it also. Until next time.......
This was the 4th Anderson concert in the past decade. Each has been great!! Part of the experience was meeting people wearing t-shirts, merchandise from other past Anderson concerts. We shared our past concerts, how long we have been a Jon Anderson/YES fans, when we first head YES and what listening to their and Jon's music has meant to us. As for the concert, it was just great listening to classic YES songs from their best early albums and one from the Rabin era. Jon is 78 years old and I hope he is able to continue, perhaps with another solo tour. No matter what he does with his music and the YouTube videos of his I can't get enough of him.
And theirs the one guy who says Jon’s washes up and won’t see him again …. Blasphamy !!!
I can only assume maybe it was St Louis Allergies, but Jon struggled with vocals the entire show. He also commented twice that he wasn't sure where he was at - off night for sure. The band was terrific and to cover for him all night. Think I will never see him again - sorry Jon but the vocal performance was subpar and it that isn't the new norm then you should have said so.
Jon Anderson is always a treat to see. The venue provided for a great show with no overcrowding. Ample check in gates allowed for quick entry. The Band Geeks are a great band to see and really shine when accompanied by Jon! A must see show! Richie Castellano is such an amazing talent!
I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jon and the band exceptional
If you are a 1970's YES fan, you don't want to miss this show. The "Band Geeks" are very talented players who recreate the music of YES like no one I have ever heard. Jon's voice is strong, clear, and sounds great...and you would never think he is 78 years old. The set list included "Yours is no Disgrace", "Perpetual Change", "Close to the Edge", and "Awaken" along with "Heart of the Sunrise" and even "Gates of Delirium". This is the best YES music I have heard live with Jon for many years. Superb concert!
