An amazing duo! I would see them over and over again! They did not disappoint! Can’t wait for them to tour in our neck of the woods again! Bravo!
These guys are still as awesome as they've always been.
Absolutely amazing concert! My 11 yr old was so incredibly mesmermized! They sound so awesome and didn't miss a beat.
Saw B&D many years ago in Devore, CA, and they were as good at this concert as they were back then! So glad that we went and glad that they're coming to smaller venues so that we all can see them!!
The concert was probably one of the best my husband and I have ever seen. From the opening singers, Scotty McCreery on to Brooks & Dunn! A fantastic evening!
Brooks and Dunn always put on a great show! How to tad bit of trouble with the guest services working in the area as someone else was in our seats and it took a supervisor coming over to fix the issue, but the show itself was fantastic!
It's been YEARS since I've been to the Greensboro Coliseum. I did as much research as possible by looking at the coliseum website, reading the reviews, etc. It was suggested to plan to be parked by 5:30pm (event started at 7pm) so I loosely adhered to that request by getting to the area around that time. I'm glad I did because I didn't have to park far away from the building itself. There were plenty of police & parking staff & indoor personnel to keep things moving inside & out. I LOVED the simplicity of the ticket transfer to Google Wallet--which I'd done way ahead of time--that made it a breeze to be scanned admittance into the venue. The signage was more than adequate to get to the right section. The one staff member manning the 220 section was pleasant but wasn't thoroughly knowledgeable to assist me in finding my seat, but I found it easily anyway. (Another female staff showed up after I was seated & she sounded much more experienced in the locations of sections, rows & seats. I arrived & settled early so I had plenty of time to observe.) I was first struck by how beautiful the Greensboro Coliseum is. The digital advertisements & info were bright & colorful. A phone number to report any issues of unruly patrons in one's section was periodically displayed, which of course I took a photo of with my cell phone. Despite the allure of the colors & efficiency of the digital signage, my favorite thing was the pure whiteness (clean!) rafters, catwalk system & ceiling of the building itself. It appeared to me that the coliseum is well-managed & kept up, & the effort wasn't lost on me. In preparation for anything horrible happening, I memorized all exits nearby, and then I didn't worry about any potential emergency. I'd waited long enough to see Brooks & Dunn & nothing was going to wreck this experience. All one can do is prepare & then enjoy the evening! Precisely at 7pm, the house lights went out & the stage lit up with Megan Moroney, the first artist to perform. The sound system was perfect, not too loud, & words spoken & lyrics sung were easily understood. After a brief stage/equipment change, Scotty McCreery performed next & he was even easier to understand. I really enjoyed hearing him! He is from the Greensboro area & Greensboro showed him a lot of love. At long last, the act we'd all come to see & hear sauntered on stage. They were WONDERFUL. They played all the favorites, interacted playfully with each other, & Ronnie Dunn sounded AMAZING! I'd noticed earlier that there was an abundance of grey-haired fans in the crowd. At one point, it was asked how many folks were there, seeing B&D for the first time. The majority of the audience, including myself, responded. They must have had the same thought process as I had when the tour was first announced: I regretted never seeing them before they split up years prior. I wasn't going to make that mistake again once they decided to go on tour again. It was a really good decision. Ticketmaster, the City of Greensboro & the Greensboro Coliseum made it an easy, safe & great night out!
Concert was great and venue is one of the best. My only grief is that when everyone my e de idea to stand up with no regard to those sitting around then it makes it not such a good experience. Some people are not able to stand at all or for long periods of time. We all paid for the same experience but we all were not able to fully enjoy it
The only problem I had was some tall dude was in front of me so I couldn't see.
