The basketball was its usual great self. Atmosphere was fun and exciting. The upgrades to the civic center are aesthetically appealing. Making it look more modern and sleek. Lighting inside is much improved. What needs correction now, the most important part of the building in my opinion, is the seating. The better the seats the worse the comfort. All of the lower level reserved seats are worn out and uncomfortable. Makes for a long week being folded up and cramped in those torture devices. Really needs improvement. Also, the entitled bunch that roam the arena flopping in any open seat crowding in on paid for reserved seat is a problem. I had a guy sit in the seat beside me thus I knew wasn’t his, crowd me and talk all game and then saunter of under the civic center to the hospitality rooms and return with drinks and snacks to crowd another poor group. The tournament has seats reserved for these dignitaries, keep them in them.
Civic Center was pretty clean had to have a small fortune to get drinks and snacks for myself and 2 kids ticket prices were great for 3 games a session but wouldn’t let my 10 year old bring in his apple juice come on Civic Center
Overall good experience Great staff Great services Refs were terrible really bad Food was too expensive wow
Typical game scenario, only problem was with our digital Ticketmaster tickets not staying opened for the bar code to be scanned. The clerk told us that Ticketmaster had been having issues.
Every year it seems the lower level is not available for sell. It’s always half full in lower level. Would be better experience if they sold the lower level instead of WVSSAC coaches or staff. Or that’s what it seems
We loved it. We had good seats and no bad experiences, fans from other schools were friendly and pretty much polite. Plenty of facilities, bathrooms clean and no wait. Staff was friendly and helpful. And best of all...our team won. Once a Dot Always A Dot
Great experience Great teams and schools Good sportsmanship Very competitive The refs were really bad The convention center staff were so nice and the facility is awesome
It was nerve racking, I had a fun time the whole game
Awesome place for the kids to play in a championship tournament.
