    An Amazing Experience

    by Carol on 7/18/23

Wow, where to start? If you love astronomy or know someone who does, you cant miss this! The visuals were beautiful, the projections made you feel like you were floating in a sea of stars! plus how informative about space history and how we send humans into space. its really humbling to see the strides modern technology has come to send probes and satellites to different planets for observation. I loved it, space has always fascinated me ever since I was a child, so this was such a treat to witness.

    It was cool

    by Jessica on 7/17/23

I enjoyed the experience. I thought my 7yo would enjoy it but it was a little long for him. The projections were cool, but the words weren’t narrated, and my kid doesn’t read that fast, so that was frustrating for him. I wish there had been narrated audio and it would have been better.

    Magical

    by Lou on 7/15/23

Absolutely loved the experience. Everything was so well done that you really do get lost in the visuals. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

    The biggest rip off

    by Liz on 7/15/23

On the website this looks like a cool thing to visit. Me and my family were very excited and took a big chunk out of our day to come see the exhibit. The show lasted 1 HR with no talking. We were already dissatisfied but then we went to the “immersive room” and it was the same thing with some mirrors overall a HUGE waste of time and money

    Basically, a good movie

    by Marty on 7/11/23

They talked about a self-guided tour, but it is really a hi-tech movie. Interesting and engaging, but not a self-guided tour.

    Glorified Powerpoint

    by Evan on 7/11/23

I do not think it was worth the $30. It was a single video on loop that was mildly informative. Save your money!

    Wonderful experience

by NanaQ on 6/29/23Hall des Lumières - New York

The venue, the music, the information was incredible. Even the gift shop ricked. One of the best things I’ve done with my grandchild. Cool, comfortable, clear, precise and so so much fun and educational to boot. Thank you, would do,it all over again.

    Disappointed

by Liza on 6/28/23Hall des Lumières - New York

I didn’t like it. It was too superficial, not enough exploration and explanation of the planet.

Fabulous for young children - and adults!

by Nanasaurus on 6/26/23Hall des Lumières - New York

The experience, unlike some other "immersives" I've attended, was really only a video, or collection of videos, projected on all surfaces of a spectacular 200-year old bank interior. The scene of the rocket blastoff, with smoke billowing up the walls and all across the floor, was spectacular. There were very few people there. That meant the toddlers could jump on stars on the floor, or flop on the dog-bed-type "mattresses". (They were comfortable!) I am thrilled that the landmark bank is being preserved, and I loved being in that space. However, I think the "show" would have benefited from plain, flat walls instead. Some of the videos were distorted or blocked by the teller windows and the object in the center of the floor. Still, the experience was fabulous. Such a sensation of space and wonder.

    Cool experience

by Dani on 6/25/23Hall des Lumières - New York

This was an interesting experience. I very much enjoyed it from start to finish. It was on loop so we got to see it from different angles which allowed us to take it all of the pictures / videos presented.
