North Carolina Theatre – Mary Poppins Tickets

Wonderfully done. Singing , dances, orchestra, lighting, scenery, special effects all combined for a magical performance.

I loved Mary Poppins as a child and it took me back to the carefree and worryfree time of childhood. Loved the performance

The show was wonderful! Some entertaining fun, unexpected changes to the original. Really well done! Great job theater, design, and musical staff!! Unfortunately the bag checking staff are not well organized in their education and communication to maintain a smooth consistent process. My bag was checked outside for size and approved. Entering the building my bag was rechecked and denied by another supervisor staff for being an inch too big. They are using a flat board as a measuring device increasing the inconsistency, some staff hold it up, other lay it flat and push it down. The disappointing aspect is a supervisor failed to acknowledge that the bag had been approved by a member of her staff previously and their process is broken. Instead I had to walk back outside in the 90 plus heat for a one inch opinion of her remeasuring. Poor customer service and decreasing guest satisfaction for sure!

We went to this production on a whim, my husband is a longtime fan of the books about Mary Poppins and of course the Disney movie. I was blown away by the quality of the production. The differences between this and the Disney movie were numerous, but contained enough of the movie to be familiar. The case was wonderful, every performer was outstanding. It was one of the highest quality productions I have seen in 23 years of living in this area, and the first that I felt the obligatory standing ovation (a standard at every production here, I guess people think it's the way to end every performance) was truly warranted. Bravo to the NC Theatre and Conservatory for an outstanding performance.

Took my girls (43-10) and had a wonderful experience all around! Lunch downtown, great play, close parking, overnight stay! The local talent is amazing!!

I brought my 13 year old granddaughter to the performance on July 29 since she has a budding interest in the performing arts. Neither of us was disappointed. The acting was great, the voices delightful and the stage sets beautiful.

The play was good. Having seen the movie it was a little surprised by the format. My mind kept looking for the missing parts. The cast was terrific. I especially liked when the kite string broke. Everyone went with the flow. I hope to see other plays.

Our family - 2 Grandmas, Daughter-in-Law and 8 year old Granddaughter - attended the matinee performance of Mary Poppins. It is hard to find an experience for such an age diverse group. However, this production did not disappoint. The quality of the production, talent, music, sound, dance and story was "practically perfect in every way."

OUTSTANDING……best show I’ve seen, EVER!!! Performance was very moving!!!
