Been a cusomer at the track for over 30 years, 26 years on the Porch, a great location, however, its open end vs the registration allows anyone to come in and they do and take over the area that others pay for, it should be closed, along with smokers.
Saratoga Porch Seating is jammed and the wooden and metal chairs are not comfortable , on hot days its a sweat box...with no blowing fans. Food is sub par. Overall for the class of people, the expectation of attire...the venue leaves me thinking it needs a significant upgrade for look, comfort , and food quality. Area was also understaffed.
Lower level, trackside with a view of the finish line. The menu is a bit limited, however a nice varied options for all. Perhaps a little pricey, especially on the drinks but considering the view and the close proximity to the betting windows and track it is well worth the expense. I would recommend to all and look forward to our return next year…can’t wait!
Great table next to horse entrance to track. Service was good. No problems with tickets
My wife and I have been booking tables on the Porch for several years now. We enjoy the proximity to the track, as it is field level seating. The service is very good and the staff is accommodating. My only complaint is the lack of variety within the menu. The items are always the same, and it can become boring. And the menu remains the same for the entire season. Some daily specials would be welcome.
My husband, a friend and I went for the first time to see the race. We are from Montreal, Canada. We decided to have a table close to the track. We had a fantastic service and the place we choose was amazing. We are coming back next year!
Cant beat the location, Hostesses and servers are 5 star the best! The menu is getting tired, soso food, I am that guy that buys the table, dresses correctly, and surpasses the table minimum with the 100.00 bottles of champagne, here is the thing, their is no security and their are groups that just grab any unoccupied tables a lot, buy drinks or bring them in without going through servers, fighting over 10$ bills, Please get some security this past year they had 11 people at a 4 person table, loud, dressed like they just pulled a car motor. Hostesses were forced to leave 4 tables empty as everyone next to them asked for re-seating.
We had an awesome view from our table. The staff was great, food was delicious.
The atmosphere was fun. Service was slow but the race course was busy.
This table was literally steps away from the track. The service was excellent. Food was what you would expect at a sporting event. Clam chowder and Caesar salad were the highlights. Made for a memorable day.
