He is funny, but this show is just ok

by JJ0926 on 1/23/20Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

We didn't care for the format of the show. Patrick read letters where his counterpart, Mike, responded to the letter with various impressions. The few minutes in between skits where Patrick did his own thing, was funnier than the rest of the show. I'd probably give his shows another chance if it was in a different format and just a true comedy show.

Patrick Warburton reads Letters From A Nut with Mike Wilson

by Jeffrey on 1/14/20Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Patrick's dry candid sense of humor is refreshing. He seemed like a genuine and caring person at the meet and greet. Mike's impressions were mostly spot on and quite entertaining. This is not a stand up comedy show...I believe that some people were expecting stand up comedy. Leave your expectations at the door and let yourself enjoy a completely unique show. I was really excited to be at this event. The venue was great too. The atmosphere was inviting and people were friendly and looking for a good time. I am a huge fan of Patrick Warburton and I was not disappointed at all. Patrick took his time with fans who were at the meet and greet. The pictures from that day and the conversation that I had with Patrick will continue to be remembered for many years. I will go see him again if he continues to perform for his fans in comedy clubs. I love his sense of humor!

    Unexpected

by Nanzer on 1/14/20Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

We had a blast seeing Patrick Warburton and Mike Wilson at Punchline Philly! The show format was unexpected, but really enjoyable! Such a fun time! The meet and greet was well organized and a great ending to our night!

    Disappointed

by TFB on 1/14/20Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Anticipated stand up routine. What we got was incredibly lackluster. Patrick is talented, however the show’s billing did not suggest he’d be reading letters with an impressionist. Wanted to walk out after 5 minutes.

    My boring experience

by Charlie on 1/13/20Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Patrick was a waste of time. However the his alternate on stage was really great.

    Letters from a Nut

by hol614 on 1/13/20Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Patrick Warburton read comical letters that someone else wrote to different companies. Mike (forgot last name but very talented) read the responses to these letters in different actors/characters voices. This was entertaining for about 5 minutes but it went on for an hour and half. If it had been on TV I would have turned it off. I would have loved to hear more about Patrick in between the letters maybe. Idk, it was not what I expected I guess.

    i saw Pat

by Tommy T-Bone on 1/7/20Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

First off, I'm a HUGE fan of Pat. Loved him on Sienfield and when he had his own sitcom, Rules of Engagement. I had not known he was a stand up comedian. After the event, I'm sure he still isn't. The format, he reads out of a book, like he reads his lines in The Tic, was at first very cool and different. As the night played out though, it seemed his sidekick was the main show (and he was OK/Good). Pat would read a very comical letter to a company, and then pick a voice for his sidekick to read the response to his letter. Not sure if it was good in the beginning because it was new or if because the voice impressions were good, but at the end of the show, the impressions and show in general were fizzling out. I think a group of people left early. Bummer that Pat didn't stick around for pictures or autographs after the show. All in all, it was an experience but the main person of the show wasn't Pat sadly.

    Not at all stand up

by Wine guy on 1/7/20Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Patrick was ok but his guests sucked and we walked out after half an hour. Super corny, dated style impressions and reading letters I’ve seen on reddit for years. Garbage

    Not funny

by Grumpy on 1/7/20Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

All he did was read letters while another person did poor voice impersonations for the responses. Worst show I’ve ever been to
