Very disappointed that it was so short. 35 mins! Would not see again.
I got the idea of buying tickets for a 12 yr old's birthday. The whole family went out to sushi and this event at the MK center. Very interesting fun and entertaining show .....and then it ended...40 mins ? We were left with falling " that's all" it's over already ? Great start..needs to be at least another 30 mins longer
The puppets and narrators were amazing. The content was great. Overall very impression. My only issue was the lighting made some things in the aquarium hard to see and the folks on stage got hard to hear when there was more chatter. Other than that, GREAT SHOW!!
Less than an hour long. Quite cheesy. Best for small kids.
My 8yo and I loved the puppets and the imagination involved for the performance, but it was difficult to hear (poorly mic’d, as if clothing was covering the performers microphones) and we were both very disappointed it was only 45 minutes from start to finish.
An auditorium of children, some having waited over 30 minutes for the show to begin tests the grown-ups who are feeling about the same degree of wiggliness and boredom as a five year old, followed by a comedic introduction that is way above the children's heads and does not amuse the adults, had me almost regretting the price of admission. While it could not be helped and would not suggest that the children not be allowed to enter, the late arrivals also detracted from the show. Finally, [you could tell by the stillness and aahs] the real show began. And it was grand. Prehistoric marine reptiles floated over the audience and battled. Yet, I noted that even with the late start, it was over on time ....could there have been more? The treats at the door were great too.
Such a wonderfully different and attention grabbing performance! The puppets were beautiful and the narrator was perfect.
Yes, the puppetry is amazing. The dialogue and jokes - not so much. The emmcee tries to keep the show moving, while the scientist gives you the facts. The scientist did a great job, she was educational and naturally entertaining but the emmcee is cheesy and downright irritating throughout. The website trailer makes it look like there is an extensive amount of creatures throughout but the creatures are only about half the show which lasted for an hour. So you need to sit through the banter before the animals arrive. This was hard for the younger children. The creatures you do see are very cool, creative and very well engineered.
Fantastic show for the 3-10 crowd but much shorter than I expected, only about 45 minutes total. My kids wanted to see more!
The puppetry is awesome and they bring some of the puppets down through the audience. The information they give out was spot on and very accurate. The humor was a little dry. Over all I think this show is best geared towards 7-10 year olds. Also, its a little expensive as its only a one hour show. It was a decent show, but was expecting a little more.
