John Caparulo became the Strip's newest comedy headliner when he debuted in The Comedy Lineup at Harrah's Las Vegas in 2018. His weekly residency marks another milestone in a career that's included standout performances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, a recurring spot as Chelsea Handler's "under-dressed everyman" on Chelsea Lately on E!, and a breakout appearance on Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Tour.
Caparulo made more fans with his Comedy Central specials Comedy Central Presents: John Caparulo and John Caparulo: Meet Cap. Released on CD and DVD in 2013, his special John Caparulo: Come Inside Me is a showcase of his wickedly sarcastic but always relatable brand of humor.
John Caparulo's Mad Cap Comedy Background
Born and bred in Ohio, John Caparulo is a seasoned comedian whose dry, no-nonsense Midwestern sensibility endears him to audience members of all kinds. He began his comedy career performing in clubs in Cleveland and Pittsburgh in the late ‘90s before coming to Hollywood to hone his skills on stage and work the door at the legendary Comedy Store.
Caparulo's breakout performance at Montreal's Just for Laughs in 2003 led to spots on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. His profile continued to rise with his regular appearances on Chelsea Lately and his live performances on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Next Generation, as well as Vince Vaughn's Wild Comedy Tour.
In 2008, Caparulo's first full-length special, John Caparulo: Meet Cap premiered on Comedy Central. His second special, Come Inside Me, was released on CD and DVD in 2013.
Teaming with Caesars Entertainment, he brought his droll, sarcastic and consistently hilarious brand of comedy to the Strip in 2018 for John Caparulo's Mad Cap Comedy, a weekly residency show at Harrah's Las Vegas.
John was so nice to meet in person after the show and his show was hilarious!!! We were laughing so hard the entire show! Even the preview clips they were playing while we waited since we got their early were great! I hope the word gets out so his show continues to grow and he needs a bigger stage!
We had never seen John Cap’s previous joke reels. We loved watching it for the warmup to his live show. He was absolutely hilarious and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting so close to the stage. He was respectful (unlike some comedians who use those people to get more laughs at their expense.) We even got a chance to take a pic with him! I posted on FB and found out even one of my own brothers was a fan and I didn’t know until then! We will def see him again

We caught his show while in town for a long weekend. We are big fans and John didn’t disappoint. He is so witty and his delivery of jokes is perfection. Would love to see him again. We got to meet him after the show too! He was so nice, down to earth, and gracious.
I'm a big Caparulo fan, and this show did not disappoint! I laughed until I cried, and got to meet John and get some merchandise signed. He was very personable and super fan-friendly! I'll be telling my friends to be sure and catch the show while in Vegas, and I look forward to the special!

This guy is flat out funny. I found him on the old Chelsea Lately show on E and have been a fan ever since. I think he deserves better than the venue Harrahs has given him. And they need to promote him more. But if you're looking for some laughs while in Vegas, John is your guy. Loved his show!
Love John’s set up and delivery. Very classy and entertaining for all ages 18+. Jokes about real life experiences in which most can relate is what makes him great! Thanks John.
