Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
Performers were amazing, great voices and acting. As far as the venue, it's not so large so that the back seats cannot have a clear view of the stage.

Good show!
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
You learn a lot about the story of Elvis and the band was great. Also had some good laughs and some really cool set design to move the scenes from place to place quickly.

Awesome cast, great music, fun show!
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
We thoroughly enjoyed Heartbreak Hotel at the Broadway Playhouse--such great musical energy and a top notch cast. The story itself is somewhat disjointed, as if the play can't decide what it wants to be. The music, however, is amazing and reason enough to see this show. Even if Elvis isn't your cup of tea, you will leave riding high on the energetic finale and wishing it kept right on going. Great little theatre, too--just the right size. We were disappointed to learn the show is ending its run early, but pleased we could exchange our original tickets in time to see it.

Well done musically
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
The songs and singing were well done. We couldn’t quite tell if the instruments were actually being played on stage which means that was fairly well done if they weren’t and as a history of the early days there were things we learned. The story could have been a little stronger and a few of the characters needed stronger microphones. The venue is very intimate and felt like a rock and roll concert toward the end.

Heartbreak hotel was AMAZING!!
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
The cast was SUPER talented! Everyone did a wonderful job! Singing, dancing and playing guitar, drums, stand up bass, piano - FANTASTIC! Even if you're not a huge Elvis fan, you would love this show if you appreciate musical talent. GO SEE IT!! You won't be disappointed. And there isn't a bad seat in the house. (We were third row, but if I ever go to this theatre again, I wouldn't spend the extra money to be close to the stage, as it is a small venue to begin with.)

Entertaining & great performances by all!
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
This was a great show! Loved the music & vocals! Great portrayal of Elvis’s beginning. The scene & production design was amazing. Loved the theatre reception area & the small theatre setting. The seats were actually comfortable too & I don’t think there was a bad seat anywhere either - everyone had a close clear view of the stage. I will definitely be attending future productions at Broadway Playhouse.
THE PREQUEL TO THE RECORD- SETTING, CHICAGO FAVORITE MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET
HEARTBREAK HOTEL follows the tender story of Elvis Presley in the early years of his burgeoning career as he and Sam Phillips create the music that will forever change their lives. As Elvis’s career skyrockets, both lifting and shattering the lives of those he loves, a secret love story is revealed, a betrayal is discovered, and “Colonel” Tom Parker changes the course of history, all in just 18 short months.
This brand new musical features hit songs from the King himself as well as the legends who influenced his iconic music, with chart-toppers including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Tutti Frutti,” “That’s All Right Momma,” “Shake, Rattle, and Roll,” and, of course, “Heartbreak Hotel.” This is where the story begins… “take a walk down lonely street.”
