    Sux'd

    by Wheels on 2/18/24

Definitely not handicapped accessible. Needed more ticket takers so guests didn’t bake outside in the hot sun; especially hard on guests in costumes. Need to limit number of vendors on main floor to allow easier flow of traffic. Places to sit down needed. Printed schedules an absolute must! Never knew what was going on or where the celebs were scheduled. Come on! Do better this year! Give the costumed guests and celebs a stage to show off and where we can see them.

Decent venue size, maxed out capacity

by It was okay on 7/27/23

Lots of interesting vendors but the event was so jam packed full of people some tables were entirely inaccessible. Some autograph spaces were in strange far off corners with super long wait times. All together it was a decent size event however I don't think it was work the ticket price.

Great con for those coming back into the con circuit

    by JoJo on 7/1/23

While small, the GACC was the perfect occasion for those who've been away from the convention circuit due to COVID. I loved every moment of it. Plus, I got to meet George Takei! He was so sweet. Also, my son is finally old enough to enjoy conventions. Sharing such a primordial part of my life with my son was priceless.

    Not for wheelchairs

    by Wheels on 6/29/23

I couldn't buy from any vendors because I couldn't reach them with my wheelchair. Just too narrow aisles, packed like sardines. No event schedules available. The staff was awesome, helpful and polite. They knew it was too crowded! Too hot to wait outside but once inside it was fantastically cool. Still, because it wasn't wheelchair friendly I left after only 3 hours.

    I've been to better cons...

by tessa210 on 6/29/23H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

From the amount of cons I been too this one had to be by far the most boring con. Felt so unorganized, the workers had no sense of direction to were panels or other activities do to were held at inside the con, and the space was the worst. Only thing that was worth going was the voice actors but rather than that I wouldn't waste my time there again unless another voice actor I'm really looking forward to meeting shows up.

    Exciting, but Jammed

by From Out of Town on 6/28/23H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

I applaud the planning group for an undertaking of this size. I drove in from Houston because I wanted a different experience than my hometown con. The advance ticketing app worked very very well. I was very impressed with its efficiency. That said, it gained me virtually no time saved at the venue, as everyone was queued up into one massive line outside the doors in the heat. I was VERY glad that I had dressed for comfort, and not cosplay. Once the majority of the line moved inside, however…the show floor became packed to the gills! There was scarcely enough room to navigate the few aisles of vendors, and if anyone stopped to look at booth merchandise, the flow literally ground to a halt. I didn’t necessarily feel unsafe, but it was far from comfortable and being that close together brings in people’s questionable hygiene (which was bleah!). I’m unsure what was on the second level, as it wasn’t clear how to get up there and the elevator was overtaxed. Overall, I paid for a 2-day pass and wound up staying for less than three hours. I appreciate the comic vendors, although they had limited space to display and most had crazy high prices. I heard a child ask “Do you have any comics that don’t cost so much?” :( Would consider a return visit, but would be more careful re: vendor list and probably go with a 1-day pass.

    Oversold event

by Jen on 6/28/23H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

It was way oversold. There were so many people that we weren’t able to look at much. It was shoulder to shoulder people. It was not enjoyable.

    Not worth the money

by Chapis on 6/28/23H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

It’s basically one giant mall you have to pay to get into. Not worth it

    Isles issue

by Conrad on 6/28/23H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

First time to this show, Loved that there were multiple entry point which made the easy and fast to move through the entry. Big issue was the space between the isles at the vendors. Had people behind me encouraging others just to push through. While the inconsiderate people would stop to have conversations with passersbyer while others were trying to move forward
