Holiday Mart Kansas City Tickets

My friends and I have been going to this event for several years now. Unfortunately we have seen it decline every year. Mainly less vendors and way too many "infomercial like" sellers. The boutique shops that are there are lots of fun and some of the food vendors too. This year we also noticed that there were no signature cocktails like previous years. Pre Covid they also used to have envelopes you could buy with special discounts/coupons. We always found that fun. We are hoping this can be improved next year! It is for a great organization.

Unfortunately, what used to be an amazing event with a ton of great vendors has become a waste of time and money. The event used to take place mid to late October but has been moved up the last two years to the end of September. The vendors we talked with feel that it's just too early in the season and people aren't in holiday shopping mode yet which has caused a lot of vendors to not participate. There's talk that it will be moving venues. Hopefully the event date will move to a bit later in the year to attract more shoppers and vendors.

I was very disappointed this year with Holiday Mart. This was my first time back since Covid and I’m not sure if it’s because of Covid that not many vendors or people were there but I was very disappointed coming back. I did go on a Friday but I feel as if that shouldn’t have mattered as I’m sure the same vendors would’ve been there on Saturday as well. Just disappointed with how Covid has ruined something I thoroughly enjoyed pre-Covid. Kind of sad

Very disappointed in the small amount of vendors compared to past years. Doubt we will go back

Very disappointing! We’ve been coming since 2016. It was not with the admission price, minimal vendors and the vendors that were there had the same tired items from before. I didn’t even see new Chiefs sweatshirts. No food trucks and again so small, it took us maybe 20 minutes to see everything. In the past it was a full day. The only positive thing was the reindeer.

Show was lack luster, small, poorly decorated and hollow

Each year I so look forward to this. With Covid I’ve missed the past few years. I was so disappointed in how small the whole event was. This used to be the biggest event. Even Holiday boutique in OP was bigger than this last year.

We thought the selection of vendors was better this year. More clothes, jewelry, decor, etc, and none of the functional household things like storm windows. We missed some of our sterling silver jewelry favorites and some of the food items like Cherry Republic, and the Homemade soup people. The heavy appetizers were very good and they replenished often. That was very nice.

This was our first time back since 2019 and it has changed a lot. The new VIP night left me missing Ladies Night even more and there were not as many vendors as in years past. Made one $20 purchase and that was it.
