    Loving Joe

by DBC430 on 2/8/19Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

We thoroughly enjoyed Vice President Joe Biden. It was an evening of sanity in a world of chaos. His conversational style was just what the doctor ordered. This is how a civilized society should approach our common problems. The moderator asked a number of pertinent questions but let the VP expound without overly interrupting him. It was if we were all sitting on the living room couch and sharing our thoughts with each other. The Au Rene Theater is a wonderful venue for this type of occasion.

    Joe Biden: Respect and Dignity

by G. G. on 2/1/19Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing Joe Biden speak about his experiences in Washington. He spoke about several relationships in his life, both public and private, and that he treated each one of those relationships with respect and dignity, regardless of party affiliation or public views. Biden gave his opinion about why the US population became so divided and disenfranchised with the government in the last 20 years and it was incredibly insightful. His advice resonated with everyone in the room: go back to treating friend and foe with dignity. I thoroughly spending the evening with Joe Biden and I look forward to hearing him speak and hopefully run for the highest office in the future.

There can be decency in our government.

Great evening with Joe Biden. Someone who understands what bipartisanship is and how you can make it work.

    Engaging, candid evening

by Florida girl on 1/31/19Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Joe Biden is truly an American treasure- he has a life is service and dedication to this country and, regardless of your party affiliation, his passion for that calling is clear. His intelligence and breadth of knowledge on any topic that came up was impressive because not only could you tell the knowledge was there, his ability to communicate even the most complex situations in a way that was understandable and relatable was outstanding. His stories were so candid and engaging- maintaining humor even in the face of the most tragic memories, showing a love and grace that was humbling and demonstrating even those with the most disparate backgrounds could become unlikely friends- giving hope that our differences as a nation do not have to divide us. Truly a terrific evening. Highly recommended!

    Biden was fantastic!

by Ahsoka on 6/26/18Peabody Opera House - St. Louis

Joe Biden is one of the few remaining honorable, decent people in politics. His book (and tour about it) provide tremendous insight into the core of this man and his family, world affairs, and the damage being done to our democracy and the world under the current administration.

    Historical

by MB25 on 6/25/18Saenger Theatre New Orleans - New Orleans

It was interesting to listen to someone who'd lived history without them running for office or being political.

Joe Biden = Great / Peabody Opera House = Poor

by kakla on 6/18/18Peabody Opera House - St. Louis

For anyone familiar with Joe Biden, you know he's a talker. The moderator is simply a formality, as it doesn't take much to get him started. However, having an interesting moderator can really add entertainment value to the event. So, with the likes of Stephen Colbert, Tom Brokaw, Maria Shriver, Cokie Roberts, etc. on this tour, I feel a bit let down that the moderator at my event was an author I'd never heard of. I was less than enthused by her style or her questions. Regardless, Joe never disappoints, as he's a riveting speaker and a naturally charismatic personality. Unfortunately, the audio at the Peabody Opera House was TERRIBLE. Both speakers were really hard to hear and sounded very distant. I thought surely the sound would be improved shortly after the event began, but alas, no. Was there even a sound engineer present??? What a disappointment! Also, we sat in the Mezzanine, and there was NO leg room. My knees were touching the seat in front of me. I love Vice President Biden so I'm definitely glad I went, but I can certainly say I will never return to this venue for any future events.

    Joe Biden was awesome !

by CherylM1999 on 6/18/18The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - Memphis

Joe Biden was everything I thought he would be and more ! He made everyone that met him feel special. There were times when he was talking about his family and his son Beau that you could have literally heard a pin drop in the Orpheum ! #Joe2020

    Biden Speaks from the Heart

by StLouis4ever on 6/18/18Peabody Opera House - St. Louis

I have admired Joe Biden for years, in both his politics and his devotion to family. This is an evening where he discussed his recent book which chronicles his time as Vice President and losing his oldest son. While Biden did discuss what the role of leaders should be (without mentioning any names), this is not a political rally. It is a father sharing his heartbreak, and he reveals what it was like, for himself, coming out of such a devastating experience. As for my reaction to the evening, with the current state of the Administration, I was reminded of the possibilities that our nation of good people has to offer. Biden’s words reminded me that there is hope, no matter where I stand.
