The Fillmore Philadelphia - Philadelphia
Sorry John! I was pretty excited to see you live as I really enjoyed seeing you as a guest on podcasts I really like such as Office Hours and The Endless Honeymoon Pod. I feel like the absurdist non-joke jokes weren't hitting enough for me, or they were given too much air time and I would have liked to hear more from you. I had already seen the vogue interview video prior to the show, so watching it again for a second time while I was already kind of bored with the show was extra boring. I ended up leaving early, midway through Ms. Vicki's charade. I don't mean to tear up the show - I think I'm just not the target audience for this humor, and I could tell a lot of people in the crowd were. Also - Note in general for comedy shows at this venue: not a fan of the seating arrangements. The seats/aisles aren't marked very clearly so people have a difficult time finding their correct seat once the lights are off and the show starts. Also due to the height of the chairs and stage, someone's head is usually blocking your view of the performer.

The Best Show I've Ever Seen in My Life
The Fillmore Philadelphia - Philadelphia
I went to see John Early in Philly with my mom. I knew he would be funny from his show Search Party and other roles, but what I didn't know is that it would be the best show we have ever seen in our lives. We both agreed after the show on that and that John Early has to be the funniest person on earth. We were crying the entire time laughing. I've never been so happy. Thank you John!
