Jain Tickets

I booked a flight and stay at Montreal just to see Jain, since she's not touring the states (yet?). Mtelus is a great venue - it's large, lots of bars and minimal lines, quick service, and pretty much all spots have good visibility. There are standing only tables on the main floor in the back to set down your drink, a large floor, and a huge upstairs. The bathroom lines were nonexistent throughout the concert. now - JAIN. What a performance! She started pretty quickly after her opening act, and played most of the well known songs: Alright, Oh Man, Inspecta, Dynabeat, On My Way... just to name a few, and came out for an encore of Makeba. Throughout a very engaging performance, lots of stage action and great stage presence, and great singing. She wore her trademark jumpsuit, which I loved, and stayed on live for about two hours. Completely worth the travel. I hope she comes stateside, soon :)

Some excellent songs, high energy acting and dancing, liked when she picked up the guitar for more mellow songs too. Room for improvement: some of the songs were played too loud and were drowning out her voice.

Jains concert was awesome! Definitely would go again.

For as young as she is she has so much energy and some great beats!

Jain is an amazing artist and you can tell she absolutely loves entertaining. I will never miss a show when she visits the Bay Area (or wherever I might be).

I saw her at Lollapalooza 2017 and she was fun and kept her show moving.

Jain's performance at the Foundry was absolutely fantastic. She is full of talent and kept the audience engaged. While her music videos are works of art the songs did not appear to lend themselves well to a fun show. I was very happy to find out I was wrong about that!

Wow was I surprised. I didn't expect her to be that good. She is not only a musician but an entertainer as well. She created a very personal and intimate setting while getting everyone off their feet; cajoling us to jump and dance. Her music and singing style are just fantastic. Sky's the limit on her potential.

Seeing Jain in concert on her first US tour was a revelation. Layers of complex rhythm and melody evoke Africa and the Middle East delivered with modern, 'dancy', street vibe. She uses her 'magic mic' to record her beautiful voice onstage and, play back while adding successive layers. The effect is exhilarating.

Jain was so unique and put on a great show. This was apparently her first Boston show ever and she sold out! She seems genuine and cool and is a great singer.
