Mexico National Football Team Live

The Mexico National Football Team became the worldwide darlings of the 2018 Russia World Cup when they beat returning champions Germany 1-0 in Moscow. Behind 9 saves from goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa and a deciding goal from PSV striker Hirving Lozano, Mexico's upset in the World Cup's first round was one big shot heard around the world and a fine example of how great Coach Juan Carlos Osorio's Mexican team can be.

"El Trí" is a draw wherever they play, averaging more than 50,000 spectators per game — in 2009, they even drew 85,000 to the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium. Now with a new contract that the team signed in November of 2018, Mexico National Football will be on display annually at AT&T Stadium in Dallas from 2019 to 2022.

With 149 appearances for Mexico under his belt, midfielder and captain Andres Guardado is the undisputed leader of the team. Along with standout forwards in West Ham United's Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and LAFC's Carlos Vela, this incredibly talented and offensively-minded trio are a major force for El Trí that make the team a fearsome opponent in international play.

Mexico's 2019 schedule begins with a March 26 friendly against Paraguay at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, before beginning their CONCACAF Gold Cup slate as the top seeded qualifying team. The seven-time Gold Cup Champions play on June 15 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California; June 19 at Broncos Stadium at Mile High in Denver, Colorado; and June 23 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mexico National Football Team Background

The Mexico National Football Team is a perennial international contender, advancing to the round of 16 at every World Cup since 1994. The team's deepest run was to the quarterfinals in 1970, and El TrĂ (in reference to the red, white, and green Mexican flag) have won the Gold Cup in 1993, 1996, 1998, 2003, 2009, 2011, and 2015.

    The best of the best

    by LilCH14 on 3/22/24

The last game I went to, the most recent one, was Ghana vs Mexico, the best game I've seen. There was a fight, but that didn't matter to the Mexican pride in the stadium in Charlotte.

by First National Team game on 12/30/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

Venue experience was okay but didn't like the random fights throughout the game. There was at least 3 fights if not more that we witnessed. They also didn't have a good selection of drinks... what Mexico game doesn't sale micheladas lol lastly my 10 year old son was disappointed when he didn't see his idol Memo Ochoa

    Amazing game, facilities are terrible

by Erick P on 12/23/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

I wish USC would update these facilities as there is NOT enough restroom bldgs and why are concessions at least 20-30mins every time!!! Honestly i prob won’t ever go back there, maybe good for 20-30yr olds who don’t care but the 40+ crowd like myself we can go to better venues. Thanks!

Mexico is a money making machine

by Chicharo on 12/20/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

I just go for the fun before and after the game. The Mexico national team is only concerned about making money, they don’t care about the fans or players. Corruption destroyed the sport. Mexico team has no business in the World Cup they are a million years from winning it.

    Security

by J. on 12/20/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

There should definitely always be more cops and security every time Mexico plays. Things always get crazy. But aside from the fights the games are always fun

Get Some Security and Manage The Crowd

by Vee on 12/20/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

Security was too lax, people were standing because they didn’t have a seat, families were sharing seats to try and stay in an area with better seats, and several folks were seat jumping in empty seats until they were asked to move as the rightful patron showed up. All of this made for a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

    Mex vs Col

by Nina on 12/20/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

Game was fun and bathrooms were clean given the amount of people in the stadium. Security was on point and quickly responded to a fight.

    The worst thing ever

by Astericat on 12/19/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

We didn’t make it through the gate or parking lots. We lost our tickets money 💵 and didn’t get to see them play. Parking lots available were way too expensive. I don’t know if other people got inside but we were not able to get inside due to all the traffic and expensive parking.
