    Slipping a Little

by Nick on 2/24/24Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

The event is great and within 50 miles of where I live. The best part is the local breweries that represent themselves at the event. The downside is the ones who do not, so we cannot interact with the makers themself. Also it seemed like the numbers of people there were less, which is good for me, but maybe bad for the event overall.

    Kinda Disappointing

    by MPlumber on 2/7/24

My only complaint is some vendors were not there. The vendors that were there representing their products were excited and informative. Especially Albion Ciders and Winterport Winery and Brewery. I agree with a few others. Bangor on Tap, is not Bangor out of a Can on ice in a Lowes bucket. Too bad, not sure we will return. Food choices were dull. Seems little imagination went into this year's event. Not typical Bangor.

    Fun tasting!

by Roxy on 2/6/24Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

Fub event -- we were done in 2 hours (seniors)! We enjoyed tasting the many beers & hard ciders. Bought VIP tix but not really worth it (except for seating section). Would've liked food options other than expensive concession food. Would've liked different music-- so loud in that arena.

    Good but could’ve been great

by Robert on 2/6/24Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

Was definitely a good time but could’ve been great. The VIP beers were awesome and the brewers that DID show up were wonderful. There was a surprising amount of breweries that weren’t there at all which was a disappointment. Along with the lack of food was also another disappointment. But overall a very good time with very good beers.

Gotten worse every year and price doubled

by Chuck lawrence on 2/6/24Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

I paid approx 800 dollars for 6 people VIP When we got there at 5:45 a lot of booths were closed . I’ve been 4 years in a row and it won’t be 5 . Very disappointing as we all 6 felt that way ! I won’t be recommending to others !

    Great Time

by BigTroy on 4/13/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

My wife and I had a wonderful time, the Adam Ezra band was excellent, the brews were great, and we might have even found a few new favorites! The crowd was wonderful and everybody had a great time! We arrived at the very beginning and stayed through until they kicked us out! The staff was wonderful, and accommodating!

    Never Disappoints!

by Nick on 4/12/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

Always a smooth event with a good band and a great variety of beverages. I wish more of the brewers showed up with their products. Especially local and regional ones.

    could've been better

by Doug on 4/11/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

With a name like "Bangor on tap" everything should've been on tap. Waaaaay too many vendors serving out of cans with blue shirt staff that knew nothing about the brewery. The entire point of this event (aside from that fun beer buzz) is to get to know more about microbreweries, and the above mentioned format just doesn't accomplish that. VIP upgrade not worth it either. All we had was one special tasting, and the extra time afforded was unnecessary because we lost interest way before the event was over. Went to Geaghans for some delicious eats, which by the way wasn't represented. Unless I missed it, which was possible since I was drinking at the time...Which brings me to my next beef. Our great local breweries weren't there. Where was Orono? Blaze? Black Bear? What did you do to tweak them? Overall it seems like a great concept executed by a team that doesn't really understand the concept.

    Waste of money

by Meg on 4/11/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

This event was poorly done. No place to sit, no food options for those with allergies, had to keep cleaning out your own cup. We lasted an hour before leaving
