About

Please note that Al Roker will not perform on Saturday 2pm Matinees or Sunday 7pm Evenings, or on Saturday November 23 8pm evening. He will perform in both shows (2pm & 7pm) on Sunday November 24.

Meet Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage. Pouring her heart into her pies, she crafts desserts that mirror her topsy-turvy life such as "The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie" and "Betrayed By My Eggs Pie." When a baking contest in a nearby county - and a satisfying encounter with someone new - shows Jenna a chance at a fresh start, she must find the courage to seize it. Change is on the menu, as long as Jenna can write her own perfectly personal recipe for happiness.

Brought to life by a groundbreaking, all-female creative team, this Tony Award-nominated hit features original music and lyrics by 6-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles ("Love Song," "Brave"), a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam) and direction by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Finding Neverland).

"Waitress is a little slice of heaven!" says Entertainment Weekly, and is "sweet, sassy and passionate," according to New York Magazine. Don't miss this uplifting and hilarious musical.

    magic

by dawnie :) on 9/1/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

waitress was well put together, with actors that were perfect for their parts. colleen had only been playing on broadway for a week when we saw it, and she fit her role incredibly well. even during her solo, when she’s being thrown around all over the stage, she kept control over her voice. she brought dawn to life in a way i didn’t expect to see. the musicians & company were on point, the extra details were fun to see, and you could tell the cast was totally into their performance. we went to the stage door after the show, and though they were tired and a little overwhelmed, every single person that came out was unbelievably kind. every playbook they saw, they signed. they stopped to talk to people, and clearly loved and genuinely appreciated their audience. thank you for the wonderful show; i’ll never forget it.

    A whirlwind of a night!!

by Joya on 8/27/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

This was my first time seeing Waitress (well first time being in New York EVER) and my first time stage dooring... It was Colleen Ballinger and Todrick Hall's opening night and boy was it PACKED! The merch lines were packed before the show even began, the souvenir pies sold out before intermission, and the crowd afterwards was WILD. The fans were really nice though and passed my playbill to get signed because it was PACKED. But yeah, I loved this experience and everything through Ticketmaster runs smoothly so I had a great time.

    Phenomenal

by Danielle on 8/27/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

I heard many great things about this show from friends before I finally went and they did not disappoint. The cast I saw was amazing. They made me laugh, they made me cry, and they made me wish I had tickets for the second showing that day. Been listening to the soundtrack nonstop since I saw it.

    So funny, filled with heart

by M. C. on 8/27/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

Waitress is a great combination of comedy and drama. This was my first Broadway show and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt like I actually cared about what happened to each character. Although I went to see Colleen Ballinger and Todrick Hall, I loved the performance from everyone on that stage. I highly recommend this show for a good laugh and a great story

    Thanks to a great cast!

by Mom of fan! on 8/26/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

Want to say thanks to Alison Luff for being so gracious to all the musical theatre kids who flooded to the stage door after the show. It was Colleen’s second night and while my daughter begged for tickets to see Colleen and for sure was thrilled to see Colleen and realize that she is just as real in person......amongst the Colleen craziness, Alison took the time to talk with the kids and took a selfie with my daughter and my daughter is now a big Alison fan as well. Great show! The entire cast was fabulous!!

    Amazing

by Sara on 8/26/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

We went specifically to see Colleen Ballinger perform as Dawn, but were blown away by the rest of the cast. We have seen the movie and listened to Sara Bareilles's sound track, but there is nothing like the live show. Highly recommend, especially as it is leaving broadway in a few months. The theater also smells like Pie which is a huge plus!

    Fantastic experience

by Missy on 8/25/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

I honestly went to see Waitress because my daughter is a fan of Colleen Ballinger. I ended up thinking it was one of the best broadway shows i have seen. It was very funny, a little risque and also touching. The cast was fantastic and really spent time after the show signing autographs for the fans. Todrick was very friendly as was Colleen who took the time to sign every autograph and take pictures with the crowd. They both even signed my daughter's ukulele. We are trying to find a way to go back and see the show very soon.

    A new Dawn with Colleen!

by J. R. on 8/25/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

Saw Waitress for the first time a few months ago and it was great. Once I heard Colleen Ballenger was going to be in it I had to go back. She did not disappoint, and Todrick Hall playing her man in the show made it even better! Will definitely try to get to at least one other show before they end their run in a few weeks, even tho i'm about 900 miles away from NYC. Worth the trip...

A fun, spontaneous night at the theater!

by T. on 8/25/19Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New York

We love Broadway shows, and by using Ticketmaster, we were able to select just the right seats. We chose nice seats, on the aisle on the right side of the orchestra near the front. The tickets were less costly than I saw on sites selling tickets on the secondary market. We look forward to being Ticketmaster again!

I’m so glad I went to go see waitress before it closes in January. It was funny, each character was loveable in their own ways and the cast was amazing! 2 hours and 30 min flew by. Definitely recommend purchasing tickets to go see the broadway show before it closes in January. I would definitely go see it again if i get the chance to!

What an outstanding performance! Love this show. Love the music. Love the cast. It was my third time to “the diner” but we went to see it with Colleen & Todrick this time. Loved the energy in the audience! Everyone was so excited to be there. And the entire cast was amazing!
